A reference I saw said GIANT describes the idea that, though an individual may be small on their own, their dreams, ambitions, and desires make them an unstoppable giant.
although i think this idea is well thought out, this song from the perspective of stray kids is closer to saying: although others see me as 'big' (in the musical artist sense), i still see myself as small, i have not reached my goals. my goals keep on growing, and i will not be satisfied until i reach them. i think their actual intention with the lyrics is closer to this. they know how big they have grown, but they are not yet satisfied. their definition of ,'making it', has not yet been reached. their goals grow bigger with each album, and they will never stop growing.
they basically say "you call us gods of gods, we're giants but I actually think I'm small, I still have goals to achieve" so they warn everyone that you think their big now just wait you better run, run, run, before they come, come, come, because they're not done, done, done
4:35 funny u say that, “GIANT” the whole point is basically they’re ants working underground, but together they’re GIANT when they finish their work, so it’s a team thing they’re all included, and us fans probably see how they shine in each of their parts since we know them better, maybe something you’ll also notice once u go down the rabbit hole
This is a theme of theirs. They often say that their strength comes from working as a team. In God’s Menu they showcase it with the pit crew scenes. The driver may be the face everyone sees but they need their team to do what they do. So they all get times to shine and they all pull together and put in the work.
@ I never realised what the pit stops could mean in gods menu I just brushed past that everytime, that’s such a good observation! Yeah you’re right too
@Mazikeen21 seriously, why do people say this? It's an absolute crowd pleasure. Not one person I've recommended it to hasn't liked it immediately. I'm genuinely curious about this reaction, and no one will give me a straight answer.
@@ColKizumi Well.... For me, the song/music itself is fine, amazing even, but the MV's too provocative & adult themed... 😅 It might gives new listeners the wrong idea about SKZ & their musics as a whole.

@chieyoen they already saw other songs so I highly doubt they'd get the wrong idea but I understand if you're saying they should listen to more songs before red lights
During the Survival Show, Bangchan was heavily criticized for not taking more of the verses to make it evident he's the leader. But he prefers to let the rest of the group have their moments to shine. He's an amazing leader for how he cares for each of them. As you listen more you'll notice that if lyrics repeat in a track, it's always delivered by a different member. This is really smart because the repeating words trigger your brain to feel nostalgic, but the different voice/delivery also makes it new again. They are SO intentional with everything they do it's genius. There are other songs where individuals get bigger chunks of the song. Keep going! Easy Megaverse Maze of Memories Venom Freeze
All the title tracks would involve all members. If you want longer verses from a single member go for b-sides and the random unit and solo songs on their YT that isn't part of any album in the playlists called "Skz Record" or "Skz Player".
Giant is a spiritual sequel to Mountains which is on their latest album ATE, In Mountains they talk about being Titans. There are also visual references to the anime Attack on Titan in the Giant m/v. You might want to try Muddy Water, Hey Day and We Go if you'd like some longer rap verses. There are color coded lyric videos available.
If you want to hear them all individually then the song “cover me” is perfect and it’s a completely different vibe to anything you’ve heard from them before:)
This is my interpretation of “Giant” mv and lyrics and what it’s about. In the beginning Seungmin started the song with „People think I’m big (aka. That they’ve achieved everything) but I’m small, I ain’t satisfied with the goals. (Aka. Expressing their relentless ambition and determination to achieve greatness) And then Felix followed up with “Just like a walking ant, let’s overcome the pain and become a Gi-ant” Which through out the music video they’re working hard, trying to find this magical egg which when put all together at the end, a bigger stronger egg is formed, of which a giant is born. Them but much stronger. Overcoming all obstacles, pushing boundaries with their music, they become unstoppable. Taking on the world and are ready to crush anything beneath them. “ Run, run, run before we come come come, I’m a Giant crushing worlds below” (aka. Those who try to bring them down.) Just like ants they’re always working (creating music), and just like ants, when they’re alone they’re weak but when they’re all together as a colony, they’re much stronger and unstoppable. They become a Gi-ant.
It's an Anthem title track, but it's not associated with anything (that we currently we know of). There are 3 other songs on the album that are, though, and all of them kick ass: Night and falling up (the intro and outro for the anime Tower of God), and why (OST for a j drama). They also have an OST for Wolverine and deadpool called slash, and an OST for Arcane called Come Play. Ty for this reaction!!! Can't wait for more Stray Kids!!!!
If you want to hear one of them go OFF on a track, check out Mirror Mirror by F. Hero featuring Milli and SKZ's own Changbin. It's a Thai rap track that Changbin absolutely OBLITERATES with a gorgeous, fast, LONG verse (and Milli also kills it toward the end). Absolute must-watch!!
you guys should react to some solo/unit stuff like “miserable you & me” “i got it” “taste” “red lights” and some other songs like “item” “venom” and “muddy water”
8:06 they actually have 2 songs in the album Giant that’s for an anime and a Japanese drama, “WHY” and “Falling up”, so that’s basically the theme of the album
Love that you are both open to listening to something new as stray kids can be a lot for getting into kpop. They are one of my absolute favorites though because like "gods menu" lyrics say.... they have something for everybody. I hear you seem to like the hip hop so please check our "Easy" by stray kids. I love the beat and the energy they bring in the music video with their dancing. 😊 I hope you continue your journey down the rabbit hole!
I recommend maze of memories (lyric video) it does have an old member who is no longer in stray kids anymore but you get a pretty good amount from each member. Also skz replay has solo/duo tracks so you can really get a taste of each member.
i love seeing y'all descend into the world of Korean badness 😂😂😂 the reason behind limited amount of lines each member has IS for the energy. they're performing these songs while doing explosive choreo for hours on end at their concerts - if one person is singing/rapping more, they have less energy/breath to be doing choreo. it's a hard balance to strike because fans want to see their faves treated fairly (and tbh, SKZ does a great job at this!) and all the members want to be doing everything as well 😂 while some members have their preferences towards singing or rapping, all 8 can do both. i'm gonna link some vids for you. this is one of my fave songs by SKZ called "Fam"; they introduce each other by age order and many of the intros are raps. they use a lot of fan nicknames + popular taglines for each member as well. i'm linking 2 vids; one is a lyric video which will show you who is singing + what they're saying. the second is the "music video" of sorts; it's footage of a concert performance w/ the song over it. the mv also has english lyrics but you might need to turn them on. ruclips.net/video/m1h1I2w72pA/видео.htmlsi=bvSeiis0p9MxLX-x ruclips.net/video/D8WwqWS2E6E/видео.htmlsi=6yt5JlhzSgMWXWgO this second song is one they did as the soundtrack in a Korean Drama called "Story That Never Ends". this is a live performance vid from about 4 years ago where the boys are simply standing and singing with mics. this is the first SKZ song i ever heard and it caused me to fall in love with this group. it's a complete 180 from all their other songs that you've reacted to so far, but i think it highlights how they operate as a group very well. and of course, they all have gorgeous voices. it also has english subtitles but you might have to turn them on and i'm happy to let you know who is who in the video if you choose to react to it since they'll be standing in one place/easy to keep track of. ruclips.net/video/0Dk-27B5Uzg/видео.htmlsi=6NR3ypJl4qqiZ9a5
That is a great point that folks really don't think much about it but Chan does. He makes sure his members shine and if someone needs to step into the back, it usually will be Leader Chan and its his choice... and I am going to have to note a new nickname for the SKZ Mala-taste genre of 'Korean Badness'... into the Stayville library you go.. 🖖🏽😁
@@Resistance_Is_Futile1of3 Korean Badness is the bet description of Thunderous and Mountains, really. It's a great nickname for the genre of Stray kids music.
If you want to hear Changbin really go off I recommend Mirror Mirror by Milli and F. Hero feat Changbin. And honestly, you get longer verses by him in their earlier songs. I also recommend Heyday by 3Racha.
A rival entertainment group was leaked to have said that stray kids are only small... I think the eggs are there dreams they protect, grow and chase. Notice the progression from ant Hill to space. The all have solo tract as well. Han and changbin, the rappers are known as some of the best in the kpop industry. Can't wait to see you going further down the SKZ rabbit hole... you haven't even scratch the surface yet...lol
@stephaniegeer1691 i always wonder why people say this. It's so good it's on my work playlist, and I didn't recommend it. Like, management makes that list and plays it on the stereo system.
I love your description of their eclectic theme. A lot of people claim they only make noise music but they truly make masterpieces. Like you said they are polished in every way!
You guys were spot on with the "Cinematic, anime, and fantasy" these are a few of the main staples and is out of the box norm for Stray Kids rather than a themed track for something else! Welcome to the out of this world rabbit hole that is Stray Kids! So excited to see your guys reactions as you journey deeper into Stray Kids💜🤍💜 MuchLove, GoodVibes, Thank you so much for your videos! My sister just told me this one came out for Arcane League of Legends so it was a themed one lol so I edited my comment 😅
One of the things i love is the changing constant styles in each song, especially once you recognize who each line belongs to. It doesn't even just vary member to member; Han rapped in 3 different styles in this one song. You're definitely right that sometimes a verse is a banger and you could go for more of what that member is delivering. Luckily as many others have said they have songs that feature individuals or groups and give them a chance to shine 😊
Stray Kids also have solo tracks or duo tracks, when you can hear longer parts of each member. It's SKZ's thing to change rhythms or genres within one song. And yes, you were right, it's their energy that pulls you in. Giants is on the new Japanese album, that's why some tracks may sound anime. Fact is that SKZ talent is to be so versatile with the music they create. No song sounds like the other. They don't like to be pressed into one genre. Please react to Megaverse, Venom, Freeze, Mountains, Top Line.
3:50 They have solos, duets etc. One of my favorite solos is Volcano by Han. My favorite duet is Red Lights(Bang Chan and Hyunjin) and Love you(Changbin and Felix) My favorite trio is Surfin'(changbin, Felix and Lee Know) and Taste(Hyunjin, Felix and Lee Know; it's a great song and dance from DanceRacha)😊 And my favorite song from the rap line is Muddy Water(Changbin, Han, Hyunjin, and Felix)
Ps: Stray Kids members always experiment and have to try different flows in each song, they produce. Here are songs that you will see that have different rap styles but show more of their colors and badness. ( MORE KOREAN BADNESS) Easy ( hip-hop and r&B) the rappers really go off on the beat Venom (VERY sick beat) Domino Megaverse Topline ( rap song ) Heyday - 3racha Chrismas Evel ( the best hip-hop christmas song )
My wish is for you to watch the 2024 StrayKids Guide. The one that's over 2 hrs long. They spend about 15 min on each person, but you really learn a lot about how they make their music, how the group was formed and how hard they work. You will also hear the rappers gorgeous singing vocals. Felix's vocal range. You'll see how big their catalog is, how many licensed song credits they each have and, see them in the recording studio. It's a great video and when it's over, most people say "Wait! That's it!" Love your reactions!!! ❤❤❤
Also would love to see you react to their more experimental songs, for instance side effects, the tortoise and the hare and Maze of Memories. You should definitely check out their first ever song created on their survival show called helevator, and debut song, District 9.
The songs of individual members are presented under the brand name "SKZ RePlay". Everyone sings in the band, everyone has their own part of the song. It's K-pop.
Though they are from South Korea this is a Japanese release the entire album has the intro n outro songs for “tower of god” (anime). Therefore Siah is correct @8:56 because this song might be (we are not sure yet) a song for the new season of “one piece” the live action remake of the anime. So yes great ear on both of you and see the more u listen to them you start picking on the differences (genre/style) on every song. Thank you awesome reaction as always 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🙏

you caught it! yesss it's like 3Racha/Skz specialization! like you said, kpop is the industry, they merge many genres into pop. but not many could merge it SO WELL that it sounds like a new sound if it's not a new subgenre (fun fact: it is said that SKZ invented the 'malataste' subgenre in kpop, for their music is so spicy and noisy it's numbing for general kpop public taste). you could hear the 'K-pop-py' sound even in the most crowded genre-mix of K-pop songs, but NOT WITH STRAY KIDS. and one of their (3Racha, the producer unit of SKZ) strategies is 'blending' members' voices into parts of song--that they know certain member's voice suits the 'feel' of that part best.
Regarding not hearing as much from each individual: Not only is that based on trying to highlight each member's own flavors and share the spotlight equally, but also I think you have to consider their start. Unlike other K-POP groups that are usually formed by competing on survival shows where the winners are made into a group, Stray Kids came into JYP as a group and had to compete to stay together. That means each one of them had to prove, within the group, what they had to contribute that made them stand out and made them worth keeping. Both Lee Know and Felix were originally cut by JYP before the group had their debut. I think because of this there is still a lot of pressure to make sure each member is given an opportunity to contribute. The songs done by the sub-units usually give the members more space as individuals but, honestly, I love that no one in the group feels like they deserve more track time than another member. They came in as a group, celebrating and supporting each other's strengths and helping each other develop their weaker areas so that they can all be all-arounders with no limits.
They didn't come into JYP as a group. They were all trainees at JYP and he allowed BC to pick the members to form a group. But on the survival show they had to complete to 1stly debut and them to stay as a group of 9
Stray Kids have def been in their confident bossy era these past few years. I see great suggestions from the comments so not going to add any, but I really enjoyed binging your reactions this morning and have subbed for more. Hearing Siah speak of 'a different ear' - couldn't be more true! The issue I have now is that I judge most music on that scale of beat changes, genre changes and just 'new feeling'. KPop really is a beast of an industry, and SKZ have something for everyone.
Check out Mirror, Mirror by Millie and F Hero it features Changbin (one of the main Stray Kids rappers). He changes his flow like 16 times in 30 seconds. It's his fastest rap. Han - Got It 3RACHA (Chan, Changbin, Han) - Runners High, HeyDay Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix - Muddy Water KOMCA (Korean Music Copyright Association) Updates... Bang Chan - 199 (3rd most in Kpop) Changbin - 172 (9th) Han - 164 (11th) This one isnt associated with anything but they have 3 other tracks on the Giant album that are. WHY - OST for a Japanese drama Falling Up and Night - OST for Tower of God anime
❤❤keep up the stray kids reactions! You both approach your reactions with open minds, and you clearly KNOW production. THANK YOU. Stray Kids are all good looking, multi talented, super entertaining, and have a huge discography. They put a lot of thought and effort into every part of their music, lyrics, & videos, they are very cerebral. I think that’s why they have such wide appeal. Young ones because their cute and they write high energy bops, music connoisseurs like us like them for their originality and quality. Dive in and welcome to the fam.❤
Recently during a concert of theirs there was a company in korea that made a comment towards Stray Kids that "they're small" so I believe this could be inspired by that comment kind of like twisting their words in Stary kids favour.😊😊
@@8nana8the scandal started about 3 months ago, the song was chosed pretty much around that time if it already existed, the teaser started only 2 weeks prior it's release.
The theme is a play on words on one hand they are the shortest in height of all the kpop groups Ants however they are Giants in terms of now becoming the biggest kpop group on the globe
i love how much you guys absorb from the comments! if you wanna hear full songs from the two rappers you tend to point out, ‘doodle’ by changbin and ‘i got it’ by han are 🔥.
One thing to bear in mind is that STRAY KIDS compose a lot of tracks with live performance in mind. They are on world tour at the moment and we were lucky enough to see them 2 weeks ago - absolutely sensational! They didn't sing this of course, but imagine this track with a live band STRAY KIDS dancing flat out and singing/rapping live at the same time: that's why they split the lines up between them because they have to be able to sing/rap live with intense choreo without sounding out of breath! Concerts last around 3 hours with 3 or 4 bangers interspersed with slower tracks or solo songs so that they can catch their breath in between.
The thing about kpop mvs is that almost all of them tell stories and have a deeper meaning, there are many hidden symbolisms in them. Also most of the kpop groups have their own lore/universe that connects all or almost all of their mvs. Besides if you want to get to know each member's voices better and see them in a bigger spotlight, we have sub-units and solo tracks for each member, for example, even on the latest album HOP we have solos by all members, I personally recommend checking out the whole album.
They do solo songs and duets. Ask and their Stays will deliver. Look for individual names. I would start with Han, Chang-bin and Felix. Watching others become entranced by their music They are truly amazing talented young men. The fact that they are between 23- 27 years old. Back Door was great for dance and beat.
If you want bars check out, Han- I Got It, Changing (the rapper you keep noticing) Mirror Mirror by Milli - he does a feature, 3racha- Zone, Stray Kids - The tortoise and the hare, HeyDay, Item, Easy, Double Knot, Topline maze of memories, (rap battle) - matryoshka. RnB -- Taste live performance.
Ahh I am loving your reactions! I think you all will love some of the more experimental stuff people have commented below: (Easy, Tortoise and the Hare, etc.) and solo projects like HAN's "I Got it" and "Volcano". I think you'd like Thunderous with the whole group as well. AND as many have mentioned, Changbin (one Stray Kids member) features on a track called "Mirror Mirror" and it is one of the craziest rap verses I have EVER heard. A MUST listen!! (with lyrics) Also, I don't know if many people have mentioned it, but this song was an entirely English and Japanese album. It's crazy they are not only singing in Korean with most tracks and albums, but that they do special Japanese albums like this as well. They have English versions of some songs too! Anyways, subbed for more SKZ for sure!!
There are a lot of videos online that are "Line Distributiuons" that not only show the lyrics but the members names and how much time they get in the song.
Keep reacting to Stray Kids and I'll come a running! Recommending these songs: Top-Line Megaverse Red Lights Back Door The deep voice is Felix to start you off
Ok, let me put y'all on for more rap leaning tracks from the Stray Kids (as a whole), you HAVE to listen to these top three tracks: 1. Topline 2. S-Class 3. Megaverse Can't wait to get your reactions!
The lads have all brought out new solo songs. If you want to hear more of them and their individuality and their sounds. You really should react to their solos.
They have a large discography of not only albums and OST tracks but also ones they just uploaded to their RUclips channels. They normally come under the Playlists SKZPlayer and SKZRecord. This would include more individual, Unit projects and dance/song covers. Changbin also has a crazy verse in the song Mirror Mirror with Thai-rappers F.Hero and Milli
They're very close-knit like a strong family, and they're essentially saying together, they're giants. They uplift each other. Now they do have a few video game and movie soundtracks. I recommend "Topline" if you're into bragging tracks. I recommend "The Tortoise and the Hare" if you like quirky, odd tracks. I really, really love "Muddy Waters" because it combines sort of bluesy/New Orleans/Ragtime piano (in my opinion, as a southern resident) sounds with rap. And my favorite by 3racha is "Heyday". For all of these other than Topline, you'll need to find the color coded translations if you want to understand the lyrics.
Guys, Stray kids are going to release their new album "Hop" on December 13, with their solo songs, so you'll be able to hear a whole song from each member of the group😊
I think listening to a live performance would be really cool! A recent one I would recommend is their chk chk boom/ bye bye bye *NSYNC performance for the 50th AMA’s and you get to really see their energy and how good of live singers/dancers they are!
If you guys want to see them shine by themselves they have many solo songs/duets/trios of various types. No matter what the other Stays say DO NOT start with Red Lights. Start with something safe and fun like Drive. 😂
4:24 they said that they decide togheter wich part each one have to do, so in some song you can ear someone more than others. To ear oly one of them sing you have to look at theirs solo/duo on the channel.
There is something very important... they say that they have many songs written and that they are waiting to be released... that is, there are songs projected for a long time, 3 Racha does not rest hahaha...
Hi!! Great reaction! Some humble suggestions to check out: Easy Top line Venom Freeze Double knot Get lit Megaverse They have a great variety of songs, but I think you may enjoy this ones to your journey of skz!
Stray kids has individual songs from one of their albums, it's called SKZ REPLAY. There are many solos, duos, and partial group songs! "Deep End"- Felix "Alien", "CLOSE", "Wish You Back", "HaPpY", and "I GOT IT" - Han "Hug Me" and "Maknae on Top" - I.N "Stars and Raindrops"- Seungmin "Doodle"- Changbin "Connected" and "I Hate To Admit" -Bang Chan "Limbo" -Lee Know "Love Untold" "ice.cream", and "miss you" -Hyunjin "Because" -Changbin and Felix "Zone" -3RACHA (Changbin, Han, Bang Chan) "Piece of the Puzzle" -Changbin and Seungmin "Up All Night" -Bang Chan, Changbin, Felix, Seungmin It also features two special songs for their fans, #LOVESTAY, a love song for their fanbase, and "FAM," a unique song where they each have their own verses that introduces all eight members from youngest to oldest. There is a Japanese and Korean version of FAM, both with their own different music videos. You would definitely like a lot of these as they showcase each members individual abilities!
Stray Kids have videos on their channel where they show clips of them in the studio while recording the songs, I think you would like to see how their process is, it is very fun and interesting 🎶😁
if you guys want to listen to a song where they go off, listen to HEYDAY or 3RACHA by 3racha. they’re 3 members of stray kids that produce all of their music.
Starting with Megaverse will give you guys a bit of an idea about their theme. It says " run along with the Gods Jumping between every verse The multiverse ain't ready for our universe..." Meaning they're bringing several verses to their music (multiverse). So, yeah, they're always dishing something new that gotta be heard with new mindset. ❤ u guys so much.
They do have solo songs and sub-unit tracks such as 3Racha that you listened to already. But to get the full vibe of Stray Kids as a team is their group songs. I would recommend Megaverse, Venom, Freeze, Domino, Christmas Evel and then one of my favorites is Mirror Mirror which member Changbin has a feature on that track which is by Thai artists Milli and F. HERO
4:16 :That's like a k-pop kinda thing, even when there's like just 3-4-6 members in a group, there is like some of the members or there's that one member who is given the least parts in songs.

i think their actual intention with the lyrics is closer to this. they know how big they have grown, but they are not yet satisfied. their definition of ,'making it', has not yet been reached. their goals grow bigger with each album, and they will never stop growing.
That's it. They are not "bragging"
they basically say "you call us gods of gods, we're giants but I actually think I'm small, I still have goals to achieve" so they warn everyone that you think their big now just wait you better run, run, run, before they come, come, come, because they're not done, done, done

In the beginning Seungmin started the song with „People think I’m big (aka. That they’ve achieved everything) but I’m small, I ain’t satisfied with the goals. (Aka. Expressing their relentless ambition and determination to achieve greatness)
And then Felix followed up with “Just like a walking ant, let’s overcome the pain and become a Gi-ant” Which through out the music video they’re working hard, trying to find this magical egg which when put all together at the end, a bigger stronger egg is formed, of which a giant is born. Them but much stronger.
Overcoming all obstacles, pushing boundaries with their music, they become unstoppable. Taking on the world and are ready to crush anything beneath them. “ Run, run, run before we come come come, I’m a Giant crushing worlds below” (aka. Those who try to bring them down.)
Just like ants they’re always working (creating music), and just like ants, when they’re alone they’re weak but when they’re all together as a colony, they’re much stronger and unstoppable. They become a Gi-ant.
Love this.... and Channie Do Rei Mi
👏👏👏👏
You worded it so perfectly 👏🏽
@forstrayteez Thank you😭🩷
I just wish it wasn't ants!! Nasty little bugs! i'm terrified of them!!!!!
Top Line and Megaverse. JJam, Mountains, Freeze and so many more
if you want to hear one of those, check out HAN's "I GOT IT" or "VOLCANO". I highly recommend it
If you want to hear one of them go OFF on a track, check out Mirror Mirror by F. Hero featuring Milli and SKZ's own Changbin. It's a Thai rap track that Changbin absolutely OBLITERATES with a gorgeous, fast, LONG verse (and Milli also kills it toward the end). Absolute must-watch!!
Yes I second, third and fourth this!!!
Thanks for reacting to Stray Kids again! I love your insights.
Stray Kids - Easy
you guys should react to some solo/unit stuff like “miserable you & me” “i got it” “taste” “red lights” and some other songs like “item” “venom” and “muddy water”
👍
I got it and Taste lyrics videos please! Their best work
8:06 they actually have 2 songs in the album Giant that’s for an anime and a Japanese drama, “WHY” and “Falling up”, so that’s basically the theme of the album
Night is also an ost
@ no way really? This album is like half osts then 😭 and they also quite literally have a song called “Saiyan”, the theme is definitely showing
SLASH .. from Straykids.. its OST Deadpool.. enjoy..
Also skz replay has solo/duo tracks so you can really get a taste of each member.
also N&S and Hoodie Season!
i love seeing y'all descend into the world of Korean badness 😂😂😂 the reason behind limited amount of lines each member has IS for the energy. they're performing these songs while doing explosive choreo for hours on end at their concerts - if one person is singing/rapping more, they have less energy/breath to be doing choreo. it's a hard balance to strike because fans want to see their faves treated fairly (and tbh, SKZ does a great job at this!) and all the members want to be doing everything as well 😂 while some members have their preferences towards singing or rapping, all 8 can do both. i'm gonna link some vids for you.
this is one of my fave songs by SKZ called "Fam"; they introduce each other by age order and many of the intros are raps. they use a lot of fan nicknames + popular taglines for each member as well. i'm linking 2 vids; one is a lyric video which will show you who is singing + what they're saying. the second is the "music video" of sorts; it's footage of a concert performance w/ the song over it. the mv also has english lyrics but you might need to turn them on.

this second song is one they did as the soundtrack in a Korean Drama called "Story That Never Ends". this is a live performance vid from about 4 years ago where the boys are simply standing and singing with mics. this is the first SKZ song i ever heard and it caused me to fall in love with this group. it's a complete 180 from all their other songs that you've reacted to so far, but i think it highlights how they operate as a group very well. and of course, they all have gorgeous voices. it also has english subtitles but you might have to turn them on and i'm happy to let you know who is who in the video if you choose to react to it since they'll be standing in one place/easy to keep track of.

Great feedback details. Thank you ❤
That is a great point that folks really don't think much about it but Chan does.
"Listening with a different ear" Siah is dropping some knowledge.
MegaVerse, and LaLaLa are 🔥! You'll love them.
Agreed. Muddy Water is good as well. (Four members and full verses)
If you want to hear them do full verses, you have to jump into the solo and unit songs. They are great. I recommend Red Lights.
That is a crazy recommendation.
@@Cutyblushright!?!?!!! They’re not ready….IF they ever will be is yet to be seen, lol😂🎶🫶🏼✌🏻
@@Cutyblush it never fails. Lol
@stephaniegeer1691 i always wonder why people say this. It's so good it's on my work playlist, and I didn't recommend it. Like, management makes that list and plays it on the stereo system.
RED LIGHTS SUPREMACY
Something I love about Stray Kids is that they have a very uniwue sound, and they're always doing new things. They're very creative
Dohh just read down further in the comments and my lil sis was wrong 🤣 come play is for arcane! Mahh bad.
My favorite duet is Red Lights(Bang Chan and Hyunjin) and Love you(Changbin and Felix)
My favorite trio is Surfin'(changbin, Felix and Lee Know) and Taste(Hyunjin, Felix and Lee Know; it's a great song and dance from DanceRacha)😊
And my favorite song from the rap line is Muddy Water(Changbin, Han, Hyunjin, and Felix)
Ps: Stray Kids members always experiment and have to try different flows in each song, they produce.
Here are songs that you will see that have different rap styles but show more of their colors and badness. ( MORE KOREAN BADNESS)
Easy ( hip-hop and r&B) the rappers really go off on the beat
Venom (VERY sick beat)
Domino
Megaverse
Topline ( rap song )
Heyday - 3racha
Chrismas Evel ( the best hip-hop christmas song )
My wish is for you to watch the 2024 StrayKids Guide. The one that's over 2 hrs long. They spend about 15 min on each person, but you really learn a lot about how they make their music, how the group was formed and how hard they work. You will also hear the rappers gorgeous singing vocals. Felix's vocal range. You'll see how big their catalog is, how many licensed song credits they each have and, see them in the recording studio. It's a great video and when it's over, most people say "Wait! That's it!"
Love your reactions!!!
I think you mean the next arc in anime where they go to the island of giants, not the live action.
@@MalickaNeya thank u for clarifying i was not sure
They have a lot of solo songs/songs with just a few of them on it, so you get to hear more individual verses on those!
Stray Kids
you caught it! yesss it's like 3Racha/Skz specialization!
like you said, kpop is the industry, they merge many genres into pop. but not many could merge it SO WELL that it sounds like a new sound if it's not a new subgenre (fun fact: it is said that SKZ invented the 'malataste' subgenre in kpop, for their music is so spicy and noisy it's numbing for general kpop public taste).
you could hear the 'K-pop-py' sound even in the most crowded genre-mix of K-pop songs, but NOT WITH STRAY KIDS.
and one of their (3Racha, the producer unit of SKZ) strategies is 'blending' members' voices into parts of song--that they know certain member's voice suits the 'feel' of that part best.
Regarding not hearing as much from each individual:
Not only is that based on trying to highlight each member's own flavors and share the spotlight equally, but also I think you have to consider their start.
Han - Got It
3RACHA (Chan, Changbin, Han) - Runners High, HeyDay
Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix - Muddy Water
KOMCA (Korean Music Copyright Association) Updates...
Bang Chan - 199 (3rd most in Kpop)
Changbin - 172 (9th)
Han - 164 (11th)
This one isnt associated with anything but they have 3 other tracks on the Giant album that are.
WHY - OST for a Japanese drama
Falling Up and Night - OST for Tower of God anime
Coming up to christmas I'd love to see you react to Christmas Evel by Stray Kids!
Recently during a concert of theirs there was a company in korea that made a comment towards Stray Kids that "they're small" so I believe this could be inspired by that comment kind of like twisting their words in Stary kids favour.😊😊
it's not 😅 the teaser for the song was released way before the hybe scandal
@@8nana8the scandal started about 3 months ago, the song was chosed pretty much around that time if it already existed, the teaser started only 2 weeks prior it's release.
The theme is a play on words on one hand they are the shortest in height of all the kpop groups Ants however they are Giants in terms of now becoming the biggest kpop group on the globe
i love how much you guys absorb from the comments! if you wanna hear full songs from the two rappers you tend to point out, ‘doodle’ by changbin and ‘i got it’ by han are 🔥.
Yes please! That's what I was gonna say.
Y’all would probably like Venom, it’s one of my favorites from them.
The thing about kpop mvs is that almost all of them tell stories and have a deeper meaning, there are many hidden symbolisms in them. Also most of the kpop groups have their own lore/universe that connects all or almost all of their mvs.
Besides if you want to get to know each member's voices better and see them in a bigger spotlight, we have sub-units and solo tracks for each member, for example, even on the latest album HOP we have solos by all members, I personally recommend checking out the whole album.
yalls takes on the line distribution are so understandable 😭 it’s such an adjustment when getting into kpop
You can check out their solo stages...each member sings a song by themselves.
Big up Felix!
@@thedreadinitpodcastfor solo songs i think yall will like Han's I GOT IT and Changbin's Cypher.
@thedreadinitpodcast Felix only has one Solo. It's called Deep End. It'll shock you to your core. Lol
@@ColKizumihe’s also got Unfair from the DominATE tour which is up on YT!
@Chocolatey_Ovaltine no way!? I didn't know that!
RnB -- Taste live performance.
you smight enjoy songs like: heyday, got it(han solo),charmer, domino, megaverse, miroh, slash, they are all powerful tracks with crazy rap and vocals
(with lyrics)
Also, I don't know if many people have mentioned it, but this song was an entirely English and Japanese album. It's crazy they are not only singing in Korean with most tracks and albums, but that they do special Japanese albums like this as well. They have English versions of some songs too! Anyways, subbed for more SKZ for sure!!
Their whole album is a vibe. Also, you guys should get to know them better.
There are a lot of videos online that are "Line Distributiuons" that not only show the lyrics but the members names and how much time they get in the song.
Keep reacting to Stray Kids and I'll come a running! Recommending these songs:
Top-Line
Megaverse
Red Lights
Back Door
The deep voice is Felix to start you off
Ok, let me put y'all on for more rap leaning tracks from the Stray Kids (as a whole), you HAVE to listen to these top three tracks:
1. Topline
2. S-Class
3. Megaverse
Can't wait to get your reactions!
Stray Kids have done so many solo songs and unit songs. I think they shine in all their songs lol
Love how objective your reactions are. It's good their newest album has solos (however they do drop one every now and then)
I think listening to a live performance would be really cool! A recent one I would recommend is their chk chk boom/ bye bye bye *NSYNC performance for the 50th AMA’s and you get to really see their energy and how good of live singers/dancers they are!
They have a song called FAM Korean version, which they introduce each member it's a good way to start learning their names 😊
No Giant is not associated with any movie but Slash is and was made by Stray Kids for Deadpool.
A lot of their MV'S are themed and feel like movies
Hi!! Great reaction! Some humble suggestions to check out:
Easy
Top line
Venom
Freeze
Double knot
Get lit
Megaverse
They have a great variety of songs, but I think you may enjoy this ones to your journey of skz!
Stray kids has individual songs from one of their albums, it's called SKZ REPLAY. There are many solos, duos, and partial group songs!
"Deep End"- Felix
"Alien", "CLOSE", "Wish You Back", "HaPpY", and "I GOT IT" - Han
"Hug Me" and "Maknae on Top" - I.N
"Stars and Raindrops"- Seungmin
"Doodle"- Changbin
"Connected" and "I Hate To Admit" -Bang Chan
"Limbo" -Lee Know
"Love Untold" "ice.cream", and "miss you" -Hyunjin
"Because" -Changbin and Felix
"Zone" -3RACHA (Changbin, Han, Bang Chan)
"Piece of the Puzzle" -Changbin and Seungmin
"Up All Night" -Bang Chan, Changbin, Felix, Seungmin
It also features two special songs for their fans, #LOVESTAY, a love song for their fanbase, and "FAM," a unique song where they each have their own verses that introduces all eight members from youngest to oldest. There is a Japanese and Korean version of FAM, both with their own different music videos. You would definitely like a lot of these as they showcase each members individual abilities!
Stray Kids have videos on their channel where they show clips of them in the studio while recording the songs, I think you would like to see how their process is, it is very fun and interesting 🎶😁
they do have solos, the rappers included if you want to hear just one full take from a member
Here to recommend Easy and Megaverse
Loving your reactions to Stray Kids 👌🏻
if you guys want to listen to a song where they go off, listen to HEYDAY or 3RACHA by 3racha. they’re 3 members of stray kids that produce all of their music.
We need Topline by Stray Kids reaction
Topline with Tiger JK is amazing for rap!
Starting with Megaverse will give you guys a bit of an idea about their theme.
It says " run along with the Gods
Jumping between every verse
The multiverse ain't ready for our universe..." Meaning they're bringing several verses to their music (multiverse).
So, yeah, they're always dishing something new that gotta be heard with new mindset.
❤ u guys so much.
I dont really stan straykidz but my God, whenever the rappers come on i want to listen to them forever 😂❤
12:31 Stray kids - Venom & Topline & Heyday
XG - XG Tape #2 Galz Xypher & Woke up
They do have solo songs and sub-unit tracks such as 3Racha that you listened to already. HERO
If y'all like their bragging ways Cheese is a great next track to get into!!! & maybe Mountains, that one came out more recently.

absolutely love your reactions, thank you
Actually some other songs from the same album as Giant are on an anime soundtrack. They also make a song for the show Arcane, and some Korean shows
4:16 :That's like a k-pop kinda thing, even when there's like just 3-4-6 members in a group, there is like some of the members or there's that one member who is given the least parts in songs.
I would recommend songs like Easy, Venom, Red lights or Han's 'I got it'. I think you would like those.
The amount of people not getting their ANTS.
You should check out Topline, Muddy Water, Freeze, FAM korean version, Battle Ground, Venom, item, superbowl, megaverse,
Hello from America!! New subscriber here to go along with you guys on your Stray Kids/ KPop journey. Im a Stray kids fan but I like a few other groups like SHINee EXo Ateez, etc, but SKZ are my number 1. I really enjoy your reactions and analysis and break down of their music. I think you may like watching their recording sessions too. You definitely have to listen to Easy and Miroh.
