Lol there’s no way piggy’s glasses actually started a fire, it works with magnifying lenses because they’re convex lenses but glasses are concave. Convex lenses focus light while concave disperse it. It’s impossible to start a fire using concave lenses
@@butterflyflower1321 cool, I had no idea. I always forget farsighted people exist, as someone who, without glasses, can only see clearly when somethings less than a foot away from my face, it feels weird that the opposite end of that spectrum exists
listening to this reminds me of when i had to read this book in summer school(which i enjoyed), i loved it because i made new freinds and make a bunch of jokes, like why were they flying in a plane during WWII and what kind of plane it was, like wether or not the they were all in a bomber plane

It depends on your perscription, nearsighted glasses are concave and farsighted glasses are convex. So Piggy probably can't see close up.
