As a PC GAMER that have been using 144hz monitor daily for work and gaming, I will take an IPS 144hz display over an AMOLED display any day of the week! Oled screens aren't really that reliable for me, it will just give you screen issue in the long run, if you're planning to keep a phone for 2 to 3 years and still want the screen to look like the first day you bought it? go for an IPS screen. This is why 120hz TV that supports hdmi 2.1 for ps5 and xboxone series x are selling like fckn hot cakes these days. High refresh rate is a must for me, that is why I didn't even consider getting a poco f2 pro. It's like mi 9t pro once again, with slightly better performance and battery life.
@Arnold Leonor As much as I love Amoled for their color accuracy and the vibrancy, Oled panels screen looks ass after a few months, and I learned that the hard way with my Note 10 plus, you don't have to be so hostile over someone's preference. There is a reason why PSvita removed the OLED with their PsVITA slim and why Nintendo used an IPS over an OLED screen. Oled isn't just reliable. Don't be so upset justifying your purchase with a phone with an Oled display. good luck with that phone after a year of use :)

Well, the poco f2 pro is a better device. Amoled, 8gb ddr5 ram. The good things is, the display is full without punch hole or notch. Have better camera, so, the 108mp camera of this mi 10t pro does not appeal to me

Mas mahal lng ang amoled coz of its display, its made of organic material and it's thin but mas prone sya sa degradation over time. I'm a type of user na gustong tumatagal ang phone. It shows sa Xiaomi Note 4 ko na nabili ko nung Sep 2016 pa, IPS LCD. No scratch and crack sa screen. Ngaun ko lng sya ppalitan dahil nabasag ko na camera nya sa harap kakatapon ko pag akoy nalalasing at nalublob pa ito sa kumukulong mantika pero nagana pa! Amazing tlga ang Xiaomi for its price!!!

For the speaker comparison I think the speakers of the Mi 10 Pro is more clear and have a really nice amount of bass than the Mi 10T Pro. Thank you also for taking up my request of having a side by side comparison of the IPS LCD Display of the Mi10T Pro and the Super Amoled Display of the Mi10 Pro and from what I’ve seen, I noticed that it’s closer than what I expected and considering the price you can’t go wrong with the Mi10T Pro which has almost the same specs but for an affordable price. If someone prefers Amoled then there is the POCO F2 Pro which is now priced around 18,990 for the 6GB RAM & 128GB storage! Great job Xiaomi and Poco! 🔥
In hindsight, i should've added "relative to its main camera" because there is a steep decline in quality as compared to its main sensor. This, I believe, is something Xiaomi will address with their next flagship device which are rumored to have great quality ultrawide angle lens.
Can you go into a little depth into why you'd pick the PoCo f2 pro? It doesn't have stereo speakers and from what I've seen it has mediocre camera performance.
My husband gifted me this phone esp for gaming. At first kala ko pangit yung display kasi IPS LCD lng. Pero maganda pa rin. And sobrang bilis nia. Ang camera despite na 108mp pero para ordinary lang pero ayos lang kasi mas hinahanap namin ang durability ng phone and performance nia lalo na sa gaming.

I personally prefer the realistic colors that IPS panels offer for watching content. Lalung lalo na pagdating sa kulay ng balat ng tao. Then you have the issue of burn in. I don't know how good AMOLED has gotten over the years but i think it's an innate problem that has no real solution aside from buying a new one or getting the screen replaced.

I had the same "problem", always finding just the Pro reviews. But the difference between these two phones is just the main camera. 108MP OIS vs 64MP no-OIS. There is some videos about the camera differences. You should try.

You didn't mention that even though it does not have a headphone jack, it actually comes with a cable to connect your headphones to the phone, so you don't have to go wireless or buy the cable. Also comes with a case (which I don't like esthetically but hey, it's something). In my country (Czech Republic) you don't get a scooter for pre-ordering but a vaccum cleaner/mop so I am a bit jealous there, haha. *feels pain*

Hi, I was wondering which would you recommend. In the UK I can get the Mi 10T Pro for £350 (256gig), while the Note 10 pro is roughly £230 (6+128gig). Which would be a better buy? Is the Mi10T pro worth the extra £120?
The Mi 10T pro is definitely worth every bit of that £120 price difference. The performance you can get from it is tremendous compared to the note 10 pro. While both have 108mp cameras, the Mi 10t pro uses the flagship level sensor as compared to a lower tier sensor on the note 10 pro. And the 144hz screen is just too good.

The castlevania issue is because the game programmer update the action per frame instead of by time to optimized for low end device at that time and never updated for modern phones, I know because I'm a game programmer my self.

I actually double checked in person and adjusted the Mi 10T Pro several times but regardless of the angle, it gave the same result. Like, what you saw in video was how I actually saw it in person.

The phone is perfect but I would go for Amoled screen with 90Hz refresh rate. 144Hz is nice but a lot of apps doesn’t support it, only some games. And I think 90Hz is still good.

The Camera on this is very good. It can rival even flagship cameras. So if this is your best option at your budget, I can definitely recommend this for its camera.

144 hz vs 120 Hz doesn't matter *at* *all* , indistinguishable. It's not even that big difference between 90 and 144, noticeable but not huge deal-breaking. 60>90 is the biggest, most important jump. However, this IPS display is much better than AMOLEDs because of much more natural and better colors (on amoled everything look oversaturated, emphasized and unnatural), contrast is much more pleasant (with OLEDs you can't read in dark mode during night, eyes hurt), and display is much more reliable and will last longer, without burns and colors will stay consistent for literally years to come, while oleds change in time, and not by little. Also next to better colors, more pleasant contrast, better reliability, it has next to higher refresh rate also better response time that no one mentions, and so on. The only benefit of oled is on screen display and due to that extreme contrast it can be easier to look at on the direct sunlight, and if you are not planning to watch a movie in direct sunlight - pick this IPS any day.
personally I would choose the Samsung. I'm not saying it's better per se but it's just that the AMOLED will definitely look better. However, if pound for pound per specs, the Mi 10T Pro wins it. So if value for money, I would pick the Mi 10T Pro.
How do you enable the MEMC feature? I have the Mi 10T and I believe it's the same phone except it has lower storage for the cheapest variant, 64MP instead of 108MP camera and is P5,000-P7,000 cheaper. It's an even better deal IMO.

I love an amoled display but if you are a gaming enthusiast, you might like the 144hz display better than the 90hz on the mi 10. But if youre a casual gamer lang, Mi 10 5g is the better choice.

Other cameras are lacking quality? Disagree. This is one of few phones where macro camera makes sense.

Hi, I was wondering which would you recommend. In the UK I can get the Mi 10T Pro for £350 (256gig), while the Note 10 pro is roughly £230 (6+128gig). Which would be a better buy? Is the Mi10T pro worth the extra £120?
The Mi 10T pro is definitely worth every bit of that £120 price difference. The performance you can get from it is tremendous compared to the note 10 pro. While both have 108mp cameras, the Mi 10t pro uses the flagship level sensor as compared to a lower tier sensor on the note 10 pro. And the 144hz screen is just too good.

The castlevania issue is because the game programmer update the action per frame instead of by time to optimized for low end device at that time and never updated for modern phones, I know because I'm a game programmer my self.

The shots comparing display to the 10 pro amoled: the lcd panel on the 10t seems dim, but that's because you filmed it off-angle
I actually double checked in person and adjusted the Mi 10T Pro several times but regardless of the angle, it gave the same result. Like, what you saw in video was how I actually saw it in person.

I'd rather get the 144Hz than an AMOLED.
The phone is perfect but I would go for Amoled screen with 90Hz refresh rate. 144Hz is nice but a lot of apps doesn’t support it, only some games. And I think 90Hz is still good.

The Camera on this is very good. It can rival even flagship cameras. So if this is your best option at your budget, I can definitely recommend this for its camera.

I'm not a gamer and I don't like refresh rate it dries your phone quickly but I like this phone for something else.
Battery life is great, so it's a great feature overall for a nicer and more premium experience.
144 hz vs 120 Hz doesn't matter *at* *all* , indistinguishable. It's not even that big difference between 90 and 144, noticeable but not huge deal-breaking. 60>90 is the biggest, most important jump. However, this IPS display is much better than AMOLEDs because of much more natural and better colors (on amoled everything look oversaturated, emphasized and unnatural), contrast is much more pleasant (with OLEDs you can't read in dark mode during night, eyes hurt), and display is much more reliable and will last longer, without burns and colors will stay consistent for literally years to come, while oleds change in time, and not by little. Also next to better colors, more pleasant contrast, better reliability, it has next to higher refresh rate also better response time that no one mentions, and so on. The only benefit of oled is on screen display and due to that extreme contrast it can be easier to look at on the direct sunlight, and if you are not planning to watch a movie in direct sunlight - pick this IPS any day.

personally I would choose the Samsung. I'm not saying it's better per se but it's just that the AMOLED will definitely look better. However, if pound for pound per specs, the Mi 10T Pro wins it. So if value for money, I would pick the Mi 10T Pro.

I have the Mi 10T and I believe it's the same phone except it has lower storage for the cheapest variant, 64MP instead of 108MP camera and is P5,000-P7,000 cheaper. It's an even better deal IMO.

I love an amoled display but if you are a gaming enthusiast, you might like the 144hz display better than the 90hz on the mi 10. But if youre a casual gamer lang, Mi 10 5g is the better choice.
