Rush Trail, Corner Canyon Draper 2022

- From May to June of 2022, crews did work on the middle section of Rush, one of the original iconic trails in Corner Canyon. They also did substantial work on the upper and lower portions of Rush in the Fall and completely transformed the trail. It had been a few years since I rode Rush because the gravity flow trails on the south side of the mountain (levitate, vertigo, zooropa) had jumps and shorter climb up to do laps.
When I first got into mountain biking about 10 years ago, Rush was the go to trail in Corner Canyon, but since Levitate got built, I hadn't ridden Rush very often. I was definitely due for a revisit to Rush.
There's now a nice parking area called the Peakview trailhead with bathrooms and drinking fountains at the top of Rush so you can easily shuttle Rush by leaving a vehicle down at the equestrian center parking and driving up to the Peakview parking lot.

Something I really love about Draper and Herriman is how they take recreation such as MTB into account. Both cities have miles of trails to explore. I haven't ridden Rush for over 6 years. After seeing your video, I can't wait to get back on it.

That second berm on the new section got me too, except I caught an edge and slipped. Good video man I went out today again and love it!
Yeah, that thing is a super tight unexpected corner. If I knew about it I may have tried approaching it a little differently. Regardless, it's definitely much more fun that it used to be!
