Great video! It contained a lot of things that other temperature comparison videos I've seen never mentioned (such as the exact min/max temperatures for various type of life, for example). Highlights (for me) include: Pointing out that helium CAN in fact freeze solid, just not at normal pressures, "Fun fact: If you tried to stand on the surface of Saturn, you would die!" and "Antarctica is the largest desert on Earth and is mostly inhabited by dinosaurs." Well you're not wrong. :) Also I kinda weirdly respect someone who's still blatantly using Comic Sans in 2021, and for an educational video no less. :P (Edited because I messed up one of the quotes. Heh.)
Temperature is a measurement of how fast molecules are vibrating. At the Planck Temperature, molecules are vibrating at nearly the speed of light and as we all know, it is *IMPOSSIBLE* to exceed or even reach the speed of light proper!
As far as I’m aware, the closer a particle’s kinetic energy gets to c, the energy asymptotically reaches infinity. To achieve light-speed kinetic energy total would require infinite energy, thus resulting in infinite temperature.
