I'm moving back to personal rings (again for the 100th time lol) and would love this as an on the go ring planner with grocery lists and errand lists in it and use it as a wallet and when I travel. My rings at home are 30mm and pretty stuffed so it's not always convienient to carry around. This would be perfection.
If you want a slimmer profile this should be perfect!

I have used my Black Filofax Maldon Compact Zip for a year. I use it mainly for my cash envelope. Can you believe it, only a few weeks ago I discovered that the rings can be detached. I was blown away. I wanted to put my Hobo weeks in it. But still want to use the cash envelopes. So I ended buying a Black Moterm for my Weeks. My advice would be to keep it well away from keys in your purse. Mine has keys scratch marks already. I don't keep my pen it. And I started to use the 2023 Planner Week on Two Pages recently (Oct - Dec). Its so handy for putting down the shopping/groceries list. Mine cost US$100 from Amazon. The price keeps increasing. I am glad I bought mine. Also don't stuff too much things in there cos the stitching will break over time.
You can remove the sticker from the dashboard with waterproof makeup remover. MAC's works really well.

I use Plotter and Wuhzi binders which are 10mm and 15mm rings and I love them. There’s something so nice about the compact rings and how it feels in your hand and how easy it is to write with your inserts on the rings. And it forces you to simplify which can be a very good thing 😂
Plus we can still have a chunky planner and leave it at home. In this one, we can just have the essentials. I like when Sam said she just took it out of her bag and started writing, lists or ideas or whatever. It's design means it's like a little portable writing surface. It's a complete on the go EDC which most women want.

I ordered mine no problem. I will use it with my weeks for next year. I plan on using it for the whole year and not buying anything else. I’ve had enough switching over the years and I think my system for next year will work for me.

I think this would be perfect for wallet, and simple appointment keeper, in addition to my A6 rings! My A6 is sooo chunky, I don’t always want to carry it, or it’s too big for my bag.

I don’t know if you can answer this question but can you fit a nanami b6 slim notebook in the Malden zip? I heard they fit in personal size, but I dont really understand ring sizes.

Sam would you mind please measuring the size of the plastic rings inserts that fit in the planner? I have an old Malden travel wallet and I’m wondering if I get that piece from an old Filofax saffiano it might fit in my Malden travel wallet? It’s the old Malden leather so I treasure it!

When I saw your Instagram and that slide out rings (which I didn’t know was a thing )I immediately started searching for some so I could use with my Moterm covers. I found some on Temu that didn’t give the size of the rings but I’m keeping my fingers crossed.

Do you think this would hold the PAPERTESS DESIGNS weekly? I know that's a chunky book but I'm considering it for 2024! The weeks does not have enough blank pages to be my primary and I would love to try to get into one book this year!
I think it would depend on how fluffy you made it by the end of the year. I’d say you could start the year with it!
@@samplans thanks so much for responding! I'm more of a functional planner and this would be my EDC. I may add a few small stickers here and there but not a lot usually. Who am I kidding, I'll never stay in one cover for a whole year anyway. LOL! 😆
I clip my pen from the inside back cover on my Malden rings since it won't fit in the pen loop.

Not if you want to zip it.
I soak the plastic in water and just peel the sticky label off. Saved the plastic and I use it as a divider. An old stamp collecting trick.

They do make a pocket size Malden zip, I've used it as my wallet planner for years! It's great but the one difference is the rings don't come out. 😊
