Their behavior and deeds leaves the impression of their country. I am an Indian and respect all cultures without any bias (except those which lack morality and sanity) What makes Indian soldiers different is the rich culture that is embedded in their genes. There are several things about our ethos that cannot be put in words but can be felt. Major said several things in Hindi language that hold deep meaning and expression but cannot be translated in English. I have visited Indian borders. Interacted with soldiers and civilians to understand the reality of incidents that we read in media. I can easily say Indian defense personnel are extremely professional with high values.

In india a hawaldar is two stripes on rank and senior hawaldar is two stripes on a rocker. So equivalent to private 2 or pfc in us army
ahh okay, thanks. So that is different than havildar.
Soldiers of all countries are respect worthy. People respect them for the sacrifices they make but don't realise that they are also the first ambassadors of their soil. Their behavior and deeds leaves the impression of their country.
I am an Indian and respect all cultures without any bias (except those which lack morality and sanity)
What makes Indian soldiers different is the rich culture that is embedded in their genes.
