Fans would know what is Cain probably thinking and that would make it more funny.
Personally I hope it's not an established character that Henry "Jinxed" Cavill plays. Based on an existing idea? Ok. I'd rather he'd portray a new character based on Eisenhorn rather than Eisenhorn himself for instance. That way the show adds to the 40K lore rather than changing/altering it.
To me the real key of the projects are which elements from Amazon will be out of the projects as is currently know some VPs in the Prime content are the ones behind things like ROP and Wheel of time if those elements are left behind to this project I believe Henry and the production will have a much better chance to craft something good. Also I believe GW with all of its issue regarding the IP itself can do some good to keep the lore intact compare to other IP out there in the market.
It's probably unlikely but Dante's story would be my choice. For newcomers to the setting much would be explained about the setting through Dante's journey from child to marine. Then if that succeeds you can up the budget and think about things like The Devastation of Baal etc...

Thanks god you're not a screen writer
My hope is Ciaphas Cain, from the perspective of someone else. (let's say if Henry is a guard officer) - he would see heroic side of Cain, but would not know that Cain is afraid the whole time and that his "tactical genius" is often a luck.
I would love him to be Valdor. Fits a similar role for us 40k nerds irl.
Wow it’s amazing that GW decided to do a Zoats show as the first installment of the 40K universe!
I trust that Henry managed to succeed in sleeping the show loyal to source material, what Amazon was doing was the reason why he left the Witcher
Finally, news about the series from a source I can trust!
I think Henry should play the Emperor in various flashbacks but also play Ciaphas Cain.
Val's birthday gifts just keep on giving.
Glorious news brother! I knew Primarch Cavillrine wouldn’t let us down 🗡️
It's probably unlikely but Dante's story would be my choice. For newcomers to the setting much would be explained about the setting through Dante's journey from child to marine. Then if that succeeds you can up the budget and think about things like The Devastation of Baal etc...
Shame that we aren't back in the time of Yarrick, Dante, Ghazghkull Thraka and Second War for Armageddon anymore...That would have been epic on film!
That could still be adapted. The is nothing to suggest that these series will be limited to the 'current day' of the 40K timeline only.
