Yeah, I can see why everyone was so happy Cassabella's was back at PGI this year... They picked out some AWESOME product and put on one heck of a show!!! It was a great way to close out the week!
Man they had so much good product in this display! Unique shells, great effects, and man 20 minutes of using that whole field!! There are def worse ways to spend a lunch break LOL
YES... Cassabella's pulled out ALL the stops, and set it up in a day... They just NAILED it all around!! That opening chaos too LOL I can't wait for PGI this year!! Last year was my first time going and I am hooked 110%!!
Watching it again.. just their product selection... How they timed everything.. What I show.. So many hours went into this one.. and I know I will never see shells like that at my little towns show... so much respect!!! And being able to use 1.3 to REALLY layer that sky, and they NAILED that!!
@@denfireworks Must've been something to see in person! I bought that series Passafire 2-3 years back and been wanting to go to one of these events ever since. I even have all the equipment but all I do is work and have almost no time for it.
@@thesprinklerguy2598 IF you can pull it off, I 110% highly recommend it!! This year it is in Minnesota so I need to fly out again.. NEXT YEAR it's in Mason City Iowa so I should be able to talk the wife into driving out with me (and I will drop her off at her inlaws) and I am hoping to compete in the small show competition! This year they are bringing over 3 Maltese builders 3 weeks in advance to build wheels and shells for competitions and demos, and teach classes... it really is the best Pyro Vacation I can think of! Tell the boss you REALLY REALLY REALLY Need a week off or you will lose it LOL
@@denfireworks That sounds amazing and will have to sometime but lol I am the boss... the worker and the secretary. though winters I can work pretty much whatever and think there's one in arizona called winter blast. The only summer days I take off for now is july 1st-5th. My uncle has a 180 Arce farm and lake house where I put on my pathic of an excuse show compared to this haha. Though this my first year I'll have a few 6" shells.
Ok, I might not be the best person to ask because this was my first one as well so I still have a lot to learn. So you are going to the one in Iowa in 25 and not this year? Not sure if they have the dates out for that one yet (but man I am going this year and next I am HOOKED!!) So PGI runs Saturday - Friday, BUT I hear if there are rain delays etc.. it could continue on to Saturday. It seems usually Saturday is finish off setup and get things rolling but you can register and meet people. Last year my flight was late Saturday and I was planning on helping with break down but I wasn't able to show up. During the day their are classes and seminars you can attend. Some you just walk into, some you need to pre-register for, SOME you need to pre-register and there is a fee for supplies (building classes etc..) At 5 it opens up to starting lighting off toys (and the ground salute line is usually RIGHT on time to send off their first one it seems LOL) after the shows/competition/night events there is usually an after glow with food and beer to hang out with and talk to everyone. You will meet so many pyros, you will see so many incredible shows and shells and displays... It is the best Pyro vacation I ever could of taken and I can't wait for the next one!!! A week or so before the convention they will open up the event in the Whova app... Install it!!! You will get all the latest schedules, chat groups with attendess about all kinds of things going on including ones the members start on their own (beer swaps, general BS sessions, lunch trips) and you will be able to lookup the attendees and message the people you met up with or want to meet with.
@@denfireworks you couldn’t have given me a better response thank you so much id come to this years but I have 2 out of state trips planed already and a pgi trip would be a solid 4 grand between flight hotel car and fireworks for burn session/ after party’s
@@Matspyropowerhouse You are welcome!!! I understand the scheduling too.. we only get so much time off AND free capitol. I was REALLY mad I flew out so I couldn't bring nice stuff back with me, BUT it also really saved my bank account at the same time! And I was able to resist the lure of Open C and just watch everyone else light stuff up and enjoy it LOL if you have any other questions let me know!! And hey maybe we can meet up in Iowa and have a beverage at the after glow!
What a way to end an incredible week!! Is it time for PGI again yet??
