I truly love this Chevy, it's truly nice and you know that I am a Ford man, the Ford engine sounds really good, nice little rumble that is presented very well 😀, I just wish I could actually afford it, it definitely would be my prize possession 😊, thanks nick for the videos you do for the senior citizens to enjoy our childhood so much 😀
Very nice car ,good price too ❤❤❤ thank .you
Love the babymoons over chrome reverse great looking car
Just a neat car. At least the wheels look good on it, love baby moons.
The cool factor of this car is a 9.5 out of 10 👍
Nice
Gorgeous car. Reasonable price. It needs a 350 with overdrive to make it perfect.
Ah shit. I missed the horn. I stuck with my aftermarket rules.
This car? Is B E A U T I F U L!
Such a cool car with a great exterior and interior.
25k it won't last long.
Someone could drop a new crate motor 307 or 327 in it. ❤
Gorgeous 39 Chevy 2Door Street Rod But Definitely Needs A Small Block 283 Or 327 Engine
That is true that why the lock was on the passenger side !
Sweet 39 chevy
Love that color! Beautiful cruiser!!
🙂Old Henry.. 🔥
This is a well built Street Rod! It will make someone a beautiful cruiser!! Wish I could afford it, I'd be driving ita lot!! Definitely going to church in it!!
I love it Great price for a car that's had a ton of $ and work put into it.
Wow she is gorgeous she purrs like a kitten wow very beautiful I like her thanks Nick I would buy her definitely thanks Nick
The lock is on that side as most people got in & out if that side for safety issues.
Man cars of the thirty's had some beautiful lines well curves I should say.
That’s most likely a later model big 6, maybe a 292 Chevy or GMC truck motor with a turbo 400 transmission
It’s also a very nice car for the $$$
Those are Mopar turn signal indicators on top of the head lights , turned around of course ........ like it good touch
This Is a place when when you drive out happy from a Candy Shop. This is where you want to buy real cars. I definitely want to buy a car from Nick he's a perfect 👌 person to buy a car from..
Thank you very much
They should have kept the original mohare interior dash etc. Nice ride though 😃
Let's play a game.
Called "what in this interior is STILL a '39?
Wow, thats a real head turner.
When I saw this 85 yr old beauty my heart sunk at the price. For she is just as clean as new Fawn born on a spring morning with a little bit of snow be hind her in the forest of cars today. For me she is just as nice as the day that she came about and the year she was born. For she a lady in waiting to be part of your life and I wish she could be part of mine, but that will not happen at my age for I am getting older. For this old 39 Chev is lovely and deserves a nice home .So what more can I say here.
Great looking car especially in that color and just a nice cruiser.
My father had an original one that was his work car for many years while my mom drove a 1940 Chev sedan. She hated the column shift.
Dad eventually switched to a 47’ Plymouth which I also like very much but that Chevy has great memories and they were always a good looking car. I can still remember riding in the backseat. Shows how old I am!
Beautiful Chevy, love it.
Please start paying more attention to the air conditioner. This is important to people living down south
.
What a cool old school at a great price!
Video quality is great man. I feel like I'm sitting in the back
Thank you
¿Eres rico? ¿Y quién es el dueño de este lugar? ¿Necesitamos ver si el cartel lo visita?
Nick have you tried using a clip on microphone? It would probably sound better when you're doing a test drive. Keep the videos coming man. We love watching them!
Yes I have but it singles out my voice and you cannot hear the cars
Ah, my favorite of the week. 😊😊
Yes mine too I have been waiting to see the video on this car and I love it
Definitely a cruiser!😍
She's a Beauty Nick ! ✊
That's a chevy 6 the intake an exhaust is on the driver side the Ford 6 intake an exhaust is on the passenger side
The only iteration of Ford engine offered differing from what you describe is the Aussie Barra engine that introduced a cross flow head design. Yes, along with your description and distributor placement this is likely a big Chevy six with the host being confused by the aluminum rocker cover having the CLIFFORD performance parts name cast into it. The intake manifold also looks like a CLIFFORD performance part for the Chevy six: for either 4bbl or Weber dual throat #42-4501WH intake'
Does anyone else on here think she sounds like a triple expansion steam engine with those headers resonating down under. LOL
A really well thought out unique cruising rod.
You are correct. But these came with a flathead 6. If it had the original motor it would be double the price. Great car. Love the grill on the 39s. 😊
Very nice old cruiser ready to go you could not build that car for that price will make a nice summer for someone another vehicle someone was proud of
One day Nick I would love to talk to you about proper Eddaic of the days of year's past. So keep on getting on young man for there are many things about the past that most people do not understand the things of yester year.
6 VOLT BATTERY ? OR 12 ?
I'm calling your phone nick nick pickup
Pretty cool.
How much would it cost to ship this vehicle to the UK?
Like this one 🪃🪃🪃🪃👍
You for sure know how to sing the tunes brother. Great voice and songs as well.👍
I like it.
Beautiful car Nick and you could afford to drive it
Has this one sold yet? as I cant see it on your website?
Yes it is sold
@@MapleMotorsNickSouthgate fortunately for someone but unlucky for me as it is a lovely vehicle.
OK OK I see you mobbing Nick beautiful machine 😊
HEY MIKEY , I LIKE IT .........
it has a chevy turbo 400 transmission down under, don't know how they did that,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
That is a 4.2 AMC, CJ/Wrangler Jeep engine, (that valve cover tells the whole story) l had one 😂
Well that's a switch of Ford motor in a Chevrolet it's usually a Chevrolet motor and a Ford
Have 2012 5.0 mustang convt. 40000 miles looking to trade
Beautiful ride little confused why they would put a Ford engine in the Chevy when Chevy has better engines but still a nice car❤
They put fords in chevys, chevys in fords. These grease monkeys knock me out😅
Small block V8 would’ve been better than that shitty Ford 6
Thee horn works thou !!
Needs an LS motor in it
Nice car's like you'er videos see you later.🚗🚗🚗🛻🛻🛻🏍🏍
Nice
This car was likely purchased roughly January 1942. After that, you were Charlie out of luck. Love that dark red color. You got lots of space. Perfect ride from say Chicago to Denver. The Lincoln Highway gave you the right path to follow.
Nice
Pretty clean ride looks like it's well built
Sorry, fellas. I mistakenly it for a 1942 Chevy. Still a fine car!
