Hey Y'all! 💕 Thanks for watching, if you enjoyed, I would love it if you checked out my updated video "Testing out the Fanola No Orange Shampoo on Brown/Brunette Hair!!" 😘 ruclips.net/video/Fyps_HtHRxc/видео.html
I only discovered this gorgeous product today...I have dark brown hair, coloured dark brown over the years. I'm going grey naturally and Fanola No Orange is a fantastic way to tone down the dark brown turned orange hair colour residue, while making the greys look way more beautiful and ashy. Recommended 100% for those who wanna embrace their silver fox - this shampoo worked way better than the purple shampoo which made my grey hair yellow, and the rest of the dark brown even more reddish orange!
Ohhhh that’s so interesting!!! Good to know. They also released a new shampoo called “no red shampoo” which seems super cool. More catered for brunettes!
Hairdresser here, they are both for different results hun, blue fanola shampoo is to counter act the orange and warm tones in the hair and the purple fanola is to counter act yellow tones and for white and silver hair. Always put it on wet as it doesn’t work right on dry hair. Wet hair it soaks in to the hair shaft & cuticle, applying it dry doesn’t give the same result and will cling to other parts of the hair thats dry & will come out blotchy!! Im currently sitting with it on wet hair cant wait to see the end result 🙌🏾 what im gonna do next time. Put blue fanola on my roots to kill the warm tones and on my blonde mid lengths and ends with purple fanola for my blonde to be more silver.
@@SimplyShellaby no problem any questions ask if your ever stuck!! Also the blue fanola is amazing 🤩 my hair is so ashy its sorted my hair a bit, still to get rid of the warm tone from my roots but its getting there xx
@@joh_xx2734 thank you, so sweet! Do you think blue shampoo can also be used on dark brown hair if you always have an issue of it lightening/getting brassy after several washes?
If you have a warm dark brown colour and want rid of it you can use blue fanola, its for getting rid of warm tones such as orange & red tones. It wont come out in just one wash tho it will take time. I leave it on for about 40 mins. Ive have washed my hair twice now with it and see a massive difference in my blonde mid lengths and ends and noticed a small difference on my roots and thats only my second use. It will work really well on blonde hair and make it really ashy. Hope that helps xx
oh no! Getting a purple or blue shampoo will definitely help. Also, be careful not to use hair products that contain sulfates. I was told that by my hairdresser.
I should have done a side by side!! Next time for sure. Thanks for the suggestion! You can compare from the beginning to end of the vid, the hair becomes a lot more platinum/silver toned. 😊
@@SimplyShellaby I just realized it's an older video of yours lol.. thought I was giving advice for now :) I usually use shimer lights purple shampoo but after watching your video i ordered the fanola. Thanks xo
@@k.and.i lol I appreciate it either way! If I ever go back to blonde I need all the advice I can get. 😊 I liked the Fanola products a lot, hope you like it too! 💖💕
How quick was shipping for you? I ordered mine on Amazon prime on the 10th of August and literally still have yet to receive it(26th of August) I've contacted them a few times and they just offer me a $5 credit to purchase other items that only Amazon makes and sells. 🙄
Hey elle, I got mine within 2 weeks from when I ordered it. It was pretty fast and I didn't even use Prime. I am sorry Amazon is causing troubles for you. Hope they get it to you soon. :(
I just finished commenting to you on your video from back in march of this year when you had just gotten your Quay blue light blocking glasses and a pair of sunglasses. So you've had your glasses long enough now that you should be used to wearing them and you should be able provide and update as to if they have been a big help to you or not with reducing eyestrain and relaxing your eyes.
I left it on for about 20-30 minutes. I'd say the longer you leave it on the better it does with toning. However, it could turn slightly purple or blue depending which you use. But, with a couple hair washes after that color will fade! I try using a hair mask after this process too since sometimes it can be a bit drying on bleached hair.
They actually helped a lot, even my hair stylist was surprised how "silvery" my hair got after using this for a while. Since when I first got it colored it was more yellowy than silver.
Hey. I bought them on Amazon. I looked at reviews before buying to make sure they seem legit. (sorry I relinked them in my description box) amzn.to/3gitmGe amzn.to/3gnc8Yk
lol well I get nothing from talking about it I just genuinely like it. But, my hair stylist used it on me so I thought I should probably invest in some better hair care. It is great for smoothness and helping repair split ends. I think it's best for hair that is dry, frizzy, or has been treated! I honestly do love it because of the smell haha. I might be more easily sold on products than you though. When I used it on my bleached hair it definitely felt softer every time and sometimes i'd leave it on overnight like a mask to really let it soak in and work its magic. If you've bleached your hair or done intense treatments to it this stuff is great! 🙂

I find the blue side looks whiter and the purple has a tiny bit more gray

Blue side looks less lavender, I think it's a tad nicer looking :)
thank you so much for posting this ! i got my hair done a few days ago n i washed it for the first time and it turned orange !

I see a difference, I can see some purple on the purple side so maybe blue is more subtle? I happen to like the purple hue
The purple hue is fun! :)
I think the orange/blue gives off a grey blonde look while the purple/yellow side looks very purple almost lilac in certain spots
I totally agree!! Thank you for watching!!
Your brilliance shines through in everything you do. Keep being amazing!

there must be before and after picture to compare !!

blue side is more greenish and orange side is like lilac ...i prefer blue side
Thanks for commenting! ❤️
The shampoo seems like it stains but after I use clarifying shampoo on my hands the purple goes away in the shower
Oh, clarifying shampoo, good idea! Thanks for the tip! :)
I think to get the top part lighter you'd have to use a lightener/bleach. Just my opinion
True! Thank you for suggesting. 💕

Shouldn't hair be damp before application?
Yes that would probably be better! I just did it on dry hair but I am not a professional.
I love the middle part on you 😍
Awe thank you!! I rarely do the middle part because I feel like it looks weird!! Thanks for that! ❤️❤️
Blue side

Order directly from the site. I got mine in 3 days! And it helps the company. Amazon products could be fake product dupes and not work as well!

I thought your hair needs to be wet or towel dryed
You’re probably right 😭 Maybe that’s why it ended up a little patchy! Thank you for the tip!
Amazing video 😘

your hair was already very cool shade, so these shampoos wouldnt make any difference

Did you but the products online or at the store and if online do they only sell falona products online?

how long did u leave it in?
I believe about 30 minutes - 1hr. I would do 1hr if I wanted to get a higher payoff.
