I've had 4 heart attacks 6 strokes, a triple bypass and a mitral valve replacement. I lost 70 lbs using keto on and off, but after Covid the wheels came off. I've had worsening unstable angina for almost 2 years now, and have to go in for a stent next week. I started Carnivore a few months ago and feel less acute pain now, and hope the procedure will have a better outcome.

My gallbladder was struggling for years leading up to my discovery of carnivore. I had multiple tests including a scope placed down my throat. They could find nothing. Things kept getting worse and they suggested a dangerous medicine which I refused to take. After eating more animal fats I’ve felt so much better. My symptoms have not returned. No more pain. No more reflux.

When you are older the term " start living" does not necessarily mean go on a cruise, or head to Las Vegas, or go buy a sports car. It's different for everyone but for me, it means waking up after a good night's sleep without health issues. Being able to afford to live reasonably well without stress. And do hobbies. Enjoying the small things.

Sometimes people lose their bearings. _"Carnivore"_ is the kind of clearly defined, possibly appealing idea that people can take to and pour their focus and attention into when they're lost. It's a trail to put your feet on and walk down until you're out of the lost woods.

I’m 65. Carnivore 2 1/2 weeks, down 10 lbs. Today is my first bad day, in that because the fat is leaving my face, my wrinkles are no longer hidden - like a wrinkled balloon that the air has gone out of. My face looks like I aged five years overnight. I look 70. I was looking forward to looking amazing like everyone talks about, but there’s this old woman in the mirror I don’t recognize. I’m so depressed. But all the other changes are fantastic and worth it.
I’m gonna start downing gallons of bone broth, hoping that will help. And I do eat all the meat connective tissue for collagen.

This is happening to me every few days as I lose weight on carnivore; I suspect that small bits of fat keep being removed, leaving some loose skin that then tightens up,then the process repeats. Since I have hadgood skin all my life, I trust that even though I am in my late 60s my skin will keep adjusting and look good and more taut when I am done losing weight.

For all those who are not rapid responders, I'll say the healing is coming for me but I had to add a small amount of carbs back in ie less than a 100 grams a day of low glycemic/oxalate fruit and veg. Finally belly fat has reduced and glucose numbers very slowly coming down but energy is now big. At age 66 weight down to 146 from 164. I started the same time Bill did

I am born in Africa. I live in Africa in Uganda to be precise. We are on the equator so we have plenty of sunshine bright sunshine. 2022 was rough on my sight. The ophthalmologist told me my eyes had been damaged by radiation from the sun, and gadgets. The following seasons were a blur until I went carnivore. My eyes are young again. I am no longer afraid of going out into the sun. I can read my Bible without spectacles. I feel so good. And lots lots of other improvements. I mention eyes today because it dawned on me that the issue with my eyes wasn't the sun. It was the food. Damn that food 😂😂😂

What are you doing? So many tell me this "I am doing carnivore" then I investigate and they are NOT- They are eating meat- but thats not carnivore. Eating FAT is key. How much fat do you eat? Are you in ketosis? How can you still have inflamation? What foods are causing that? I eat only beef and I have no inflammation. Have you joined a group? There are free groups on facebook to help guide you. If what you are doing is not working I encourage you to find out why and change.

Have you checked any of Dr Judy Chos' videos? CIRS is real, sadly even carnivore can still trigger some symptoms. I cant afford her program but i have checked her free videos and had some success with her free advice. Not perfect but i feel better mentally and physically. She has her own sponsers, many ads 😅
For quick advice, dial it in. Carnivore i mean. Lion is the strictest version and the most likely to have results. But it can be pricey, nor is it fool proof. Mikaela Peterson cant handle the very small amount of added nitrates from aging beef per american meat standards. Great example that your trigger may be hard to determine. Dont give up unless you notice problems that impact your health. Once your trigger is removed it can be up to 6 weeks before you notice any significant changes in symptoms. See FODMAP guides, a diet for IBS, if you dont believe me 😊 You have to be strict for 2 months at least or it's not a clear trial. I use this method a lot. Found i can have cheese and bacon 1x a week but no more. Eliminated and had reduced symptoms, re-added and symptoms return. Its a healing journey. We all have our own path to follow. Hope you find your way!

Mid video when Kerry talks about people saying his health is a ticking time bomb. Huh? You're in danger when you're eating unhealthy and are over your idea weight! I think Carnivore visual results speak volumes. I see people looking strong and lean, not frail/skinny. The lab tests don't lie either. Keep up the positive vibe here!

I find interesting that Kerry and family, being carnivore, run a local movie theatre and serve all the standard junk food to their customers. Granted popcorn is a large profit centre for movie theatres.

we also serve carnivore snacks, beef sticks, pork rinds. I hope to eleminate all junk food- but I will never force my diet on someone.

@@HomesteadhowI wish our movie theatre would sell carnivore snacks! When we watched the LoTR re-releases in June, I snuck in beef jerky so I wasn't tempted to get candy, soda or popcorn.

@@Homesteadhowof course you have to sell popcorn and the normal bad junk in your movie theater! Customers expect it. Certain commenters do their best to undermine good intentions. You are amazing and such a huge blessing to all of us in this community. Can’t wait for the documentary 😊😊😊❤

Thanks Shannon for the insight into women losing weight and adjusting to the diet differently than men, As I am 4 wks into the carnivore and gained about half a pound more than when i started. I did start to take measurements to see if there is a shift. It must be the hormones or the bromine dumping as i am taking Lugol's as well since I live in what used to be known as the goiter belt around the great lakes. Hot flashes are worse wk 4 which i have had for 14 years, but i don't have dizzy spells anymore and my heart rate is a more normal rate as all my life it was over 80 bpm resting rate, now 65 and I feel calmer and less anxiety. I have had a stressful life and a profession that is stressful, so I am looking forward to becoming much more calmer. I have been tired these last couple of weeks, but is it because my body is relaxing and I am just not used to it? Hopefully, cortisol will level out to a healthy level.

The reason men lose weight more quickly is they have so much more weight to lose. If men and women compared their weight loss as a percentage of starting body weight, then the amount lost evens out between men and women. The best metric for weight loss is how your clothes fit or a tape measure.
