During this period, the implemention of RTM TV1 broadcasting starting 6.00 AM daily is not yet started. The implemention of RTM TV1 broadcasting starting 6.00 AM just will beginning 1st March 1994 (together with TV3) with news slot Berita Pagi followed by Selamat Pagi Malaysia every day. In addition, TV1 broadcasts various movies from South East Asia (SEA) every Monday to Wednesday at 2.00 PM under Teater Asean slot.
TV1's logo still using yellow colour since 1990, before replaced with silver/metallic colour in 1996 when it gets new look together with RTM TV2, a few weeks after RTM's 50th anniversary celebration.
Thanks for providing an English translation of your very informative comment. Much appreciated

Do Retrospective on Malaysia TV1 "Wowser" opening theme (Feb 1994) upload please?
Fun facts: the clock displays on TV on RTM1 & RTM2 back in early 80s to 90s was one of the "Dasar Pandang Ke Timur" initiative by Tun Dr. Mahathir to encourage time punctuality among Malaysians. Its a common practice for national Japanese TV channel eg. NHK back then to display digital clock during the programme.
Wow, thanks so much for this. I really appreciate it. I've finally answered a question I was wondering about for years. First, another user told me Japanese TV would display a clock, and I do remember the 'Dasar pandang ke Timur', or 'Look East' policy instituted by the 4th PM.
Apart from Malaysia, RPN-9 in the Philippines also used the digital clock (used from late 1970s till early-to-mid 2000s), with similiar layout from Japanese ones.
@@mohammadfaizkizlan very interesting. I appreciate these comments a lot. Thanks!
Also NTV, TBS, Fuji TV
@@TamanSesame iya
@@TamanSesame seperti rakaman muzik TV1 tahun 1993 pasang logo hanya tulisan "TV1" sahaja

Yes
Music Video opening Malaysia Rtm
oh....
1993: gerbert (Malay dub)
Actually, this wasn't dubbed into Malay. There were subtitles, though
Abg boleh tak cari footage rancangan siaran Marlboro World Of Sports zaman tu yg tayangkan F1/GP500 AKA MotoGP? Harap abg ada.
Pasal nak tgk jugak camana siaran sukan Motorsport Grand Prix time tu dlm RTM/TV3 masa tu
Kena periksa koleksi, ya. Kalau ada, saya post. Tq sebab komen
The timing 8:01 at the left up corner looks like Japanese television in Japan
Oh? Japanese TV does/did this? I never knew LOL. I cannot figure out why RTM did it, though. Was it to demonstrate how punctual they were? :)
@@TamanSesame it is, most Japanese television has the timing left up corner and it is their culture (I guess?)
@@gamingsplatoon888 I see....very interesting indeed. Perhaps it's to subtly remind people how many hours they have been watching TV lol
Pak abu
Oh yeah, yet another puppet TV show that I never heard of. Seems odd to me.
LOL... the clock display? This is probably the last few months of RTM using a clock display. They used this since early 1984 and used to be on the lower left of the screen. The clock display seen here reminds me of those artist performance videos I've seen elsewhere before and they would have this one. TV3 never used this, save for the time check displays that had since ended. And the display text seen here looks solid, unlike the ones in Japan.
The TV1 logo seen in the video lasted until around 1996 and this one is a newer version without the uglier one seen in your Doraemon video.
And the slide... Just a still frame and the text. This is the first few years of RTM using electronic based slides. (They still have a few mechanically-made ones by the time this was recorded).
Your mic quality seems weird. Too much compression.
Thanks for your comment. I remember TV2 had a clock too, but late at night like during Wings. Another user here informed me that Japanese TV stations tend to have clocks too. I remain curious why they did this - was it because people wanted a time signal to set their watches/alarm clocks? Long ago, you could call in to get the current time.
Lol, yes, I agree, the Doraemon TV1 logo was huge (and ugly). This one was used for quite a while. The title card was very standard. They didn't use those provided with the show, but made their own by just using a still of the main character(s). It always amazes me how simple TV was then, with much lower expectations
Sorry about the mic - don't have a good one to use, I'm afraid
@@TamanSesame How about buying a condenser mic at Shopee or elsewhere? Just recommending. As for me, I don't have a mic.
@@hazimworks tq for the suggestion. Will look around:)
