THE SUBSTANCE - REVIEW (SPOILERS)

Introduced Charlotte to my favorite movie of the year, Coralie Fargeat’s The Substance. The body horror film is still killing it in theaters after almost 2 months. We give out spoiler filled reactions. Demi Moore, Margaret Qualley, Dennis Quaid and Fargeat should get nominations this award season.

hey guys, just came across one of your videos for the first time.
i loved the substance! i'm big on horror movies and watch a lot of crappy ones. usually body horror makes me squirm when it's done well. with this one the costumes, prosthetics, gooeyness- it was all so well done, so professional, i was too amazed and curious at the job they did on it that it overcame my natural reaction to body horror lol. and it just kept building. like it could've ended at several points reports the end, but they keep pushing it.
i watched it at home and didn't look at my phone once out of boredom. the commentary on show business and beauty in both Hollywood and on social media is crisp.
if i saw this at Charlotte's age i totally would've been looking away from the screen through half of it. guess i'm a bit desensitized lol. great review from you two, it's cool seeing people excited about a movie.
