  • People in snowy locales will laugh, but it has been so long (30 years per local TV news) since we had heavy, sustained snowfall, I just had to record it. When the temperature climbs back up to 80 degrees soon, I can break out the snow video. lol

    @vancouvermild No, I'll take your word for it. I've been in Canada only once (Calgary), and, aside from the natural beauty, I have 3 memories: the courtesy of the natives; being told by a hotel employe that I should "stay inside today" (the weather forecast predicted a blistering 72 degree high); and being miserably cold on an observation platform while wearing a coat, cap and gloves, and seeing a mid-20's guy bound up the stairs wearing only skimpy polyester shorts, carrying a matching shirt.

    Same here.
    Im up north in Allen/Mckinney, Tx.
    We got 12.6 inches this day..
    Crazy stuff.
    Then this pass saturday, we got 11.3 inches.
    Only in Texas.
