They didn't take a nap at all...ND just magically got about 60 percent of their threes to fall. Most teams that give up that clip don't win. Sometimes every good team runs into those games. Just that most teams end up losing those games and Duke still win by three possessions
Notre Dame has been without Burton for half the year, and he directs their offense. When he finally came back against Carolina for just 20 minutes, they kept it close. And now they did it against Duke. They're a far better team than they get credit for
What no one is mentioning about Flaggs stats is how many blow out games the’ve had. It has to be close to 10 blow out wins of at least 20-50 point leads where Flagg played 5-6 minutes a quarter on cruise control and risk management. That’s 10 games of not having to score or do anything because it was such a blowout. If you had 10 closer games where Flagg had to play harder, his stats would be even more ridiculous. He’s a winner above all. Only 2 losses since he was 16 years old. Monteverde they went undefeated the entire season. Championship in Maine tub e season before that.
I hate duke but I really like this team. Flagg is the man I’m a uk fan. We won there early. But I hope we never play duke agian this year he will b great by march.
Coop is LeBron like for Duke. Not the talent of LeBron (though very talented) but his overall impact of the game. He’s the top scoring option, he gets his teammates involved, and he crashes the boards. And most don’t want to admit but Duke is on a meteoric rise. It’s the fans worst nightmare, a great Duke team.
