because they work and i don’t have to worry about a pump failure or water in my system possibly frying everything? also they are objectively cooler than AIOs if you actually understand how airflow works and aren’t just a monkey who builds the computer with not thought of air flow
I'll explain without being a dick about it. People tend to prefer air coolers over AIO's because they are silent and cheaper compaired to most liquid cooling solutions. The ugly colors are a design feature of Noctua, an apparently exceptional CPU air cooler company. The other reason is that people have an insane hatred towards RGB; in addition to being somewhat lazy. AIO'S require a little bit of time and patience and most people simply don't want to put in any effort. They just want a PC that works "out of the box as is" and that's barely a tier above prebuilt. It would be more understandable if they held some of these opinions against custom loop liquid cooling; in which an argument could be made that "custom loops" are a little more complicated. Edit: I forgot to mention that air coolers rely on the ambient temperature of the of the room to stay as cool as possible (the hotter or cooler your room is) has an effect on cooling your pc. Lastly, the trade-off with AIO'S is that they are more EFFICIENT at cooling your CPU in exchange for making your room a little hotter. Sorry for the long response, I hope this helps :)
So with the noctua air cooler the MSI SPATIUM 570 PRO with his giant prebuild cooler won't fit.. that's what I was looking for.
Use AIO and be happy
@thewildhaser I don't like liquids near my electric stuff.. Can't help it 😅
Hi, can you please measure how tall is the vrm heatsink?
I need it to be specific please
Idk
those type of CPU coolers are disgusting. Why people you them over AIO 360's I'll never understand
If you don’t understand something, it doesn’t mean it’s wrong. Logical? In such cases, we usually remain silent so as not to show our stupidity.

Because they're way cheaper and won't fail in 4 years
