I believe him, when my mom got shot she said she heard a voice saying "get up you have children to raise".
This is the biggest episode I ever watched ever since I started watching podcasts. This man tells a story in details. He needed 2 and half hours to actually explain the other escapes as well.
He should be reached out by the people who can create documentaries and create one for him. He lived a movie kinda life. 💯
My thoughts exactly 💯
Yes hle,n d number of crimes h committed n hw h got arrested in details.h s a good story teller.Skeem shud invite hm again hlem.
😮🫡
He is just a little girl dressed as a man bring him to Venda matatshe prison he breaks
Big indeed
I know Sylvester personally, he was at garden city clinic and i was one of the Correctional officials working 2nd Watch at the clinic. Glad he is a changed person today.
If you're saying that it means he was really bad?

Netflix is really sleeping on South Africans. I've been anticipating to watch this interview.🔥🔥💯🤘
The mere fact, that we looking @ Netflix, to tell our stories, not the national broadcaster, or pvt(local) channels, and prod houses, is EXTREMELY sad... We should have our own POWER, by now💔
Hit up Bomb productions not Netflix
Leave Netflix alone, south Africans themselves are sleeping

This dude is well spoken , he vividly paint pictures with words
He knows how to capture imagination
Guys we are not glorifying crime but this story telling on another level, if we can watch El Chapo and Pablo Escobar then we need to tell our stories. I'm watching this interview twice now.
El chino is the scariest I had a seizure just for watching his criminal life

Why is he out? Still on minute two?

...the way in which he narrates his story is an ART in itself.I am not glorifying violence or crime either BUT, honestly, this guy is a masterpiece !!! 🤌🏾🙌🏾🔥
Adding subtitles is no child's play. Big ups to the editor.
Honestly if it wasn’t for the subtitles I wouldn’t finish watching the podcast because his language is so complicated 😓
If they are to make a movie about this, Warren Masemola would perfectly execute the role as Sylvester Mofokeng 💯🔥👌🏾

Silvester's life story is one powerful story I've ever heard in my entire life.
It's an honor for me to have lived and heard such a powerful story.
Silvester is true evidence that maricles happen.
Re integrated back into society is enough evidence that this man is a testimony that there surely is a higher power.
This lifestory deserves a book, a movie a song.

you're super creative, this is a brilliant idea.
Skeem needs to interview these guys having a gameplan. Right now his questions are all over the place. Not enough origin stories captured in the right sequence of events, it’s frustrating. Besides that, he always has great guests and Mavester is one the best if not the best interview so far 👏🏽👏🏽💐
There will always be that person who carries a red pen, and this time it's you 🙄
My pleasure 🥺👏🏽
You absolutely right I thought so too.
Loved the episode, but I also feel like he needs to adjust his line of questioning. The stories lack cohesiveness, otherwise really captivating.👏🏾
Completely agree, it’s really frustrating.

Grootman Sylvester, try to open and register a security company. No one will mess with a company that is protected by your company. Atleast think about it.
His criminal record might be his obstacles to own a security company.
@magasaneemmanuelmashabela2801 he can register it by someone's name. Eg. His wife or child
With his criminal record he won't win
He's a criminal, security is a sensitive industry
Which can still be bypassed.
I grew up in soweto back in the mid and late 90s we heard elders talk about Sylvesta, Tebza Ngwana, Kenny Barel, Makhushu, Les Mada and many more and i can tell you this man was the real deal

What Sylvester saying about spirit or soul leaving the body and still hear what people next to ur body saying is for real. I'm a living testimony, that once happened to me by the time I was sick.
I saw my soul living my body, then I saw my body laying down rounded by people, while da other me (my soul) , I'm hanging in air next to roof looking down to my body . After that people went out of the room the I (soul) go back to my body. It was like a dream....
Then you'll get people telling you there's no life after death
So ppl that grounded Ur body dont they think Ur dead? Couz Ur soul it's up the??
I have experienced this twice in my life, it's surreal.
@nghwandla it did happen to me as I would say +-10 yrs back. When I told people who were in the house thaught I was talking nonsense. I'm still thinking about that even today I can't figure out what was going it's confusing

Until a person speaks you'll never realize how brilliant their minds are... This guy was just served hard cards and lost to the house honestly... Not taking away from his crimes but if the cards were different his life would have ended up being different
I agree… had he been dealt a different deck in life. His life would have been different… his mind is quite brilliant
Nonsense. Don't speak as if you know him personally
