When trying to decide if a multi gene animal has quality genes in there, just ask to see pictures of the parents. That can help determine if they are high expression/high quality individual genes or combos. Some breeders might seem to get annoyed this but if taking a couple pics is big problem, you might not want to spend your money with them anyway, no matter how "quality" their animal is.

Just bought a pastel het hypo ball python and she is an amazing snake!!I've had Amazon basin tree boas..I've had albino burmese...I've had them all...and my girl I just got yesterday is,as amazing as any snake I've owned...even the venomous ones I owned years back!!!Never thought a ball python woukd get the blood pumping again!!!
If I got a bamboo I would want one just like Bobby cause his markings are so cool it looks like his spine is ripped and another type of morph is trying to come out of him lol 😝 love Bobby!!
My boy is on live feed right now and I got him a rat even though he is in shed, just curious as to whether or not he'd eat it. He didn't, so right now I've got a pet rat until after he sheds. 🤣 But it's a whole lot better than having to toss a thawed rat.

We live about a hundred yards from a creeck and it left it's banks and had water about 2 foot from coming in . Then it receded fast . Luck luck lol. Have a great day
You were talking about ultramel the other day, I'm surprised you haven't gotten into that since you work with bamboo and pied. There are lots of lucrative 2-gene ultramel combos. Ultramel visuals (and lower-end combos) are very reasonable. You could get a couple on the side for not much dough. Just a few crosses to your other lines each year and you'll have lots of hets floating around in your collection pretty quickly.
The low end desert ghost almost looks enchi. I wonder if breeders misidentify genes and without a true system in place to authenticate every single gene, mistakes and/or ignorance prevails. ‘This was a very informative video!!
I found my own Bobby! Finally found one at my local reptile show. She looks just like Bobby and she's het clown. Will he a great female for my clown that I got as well.
Only a couple of disagreements with this vid #1 Try not to compare baby desert ghosts to adults because babies tend to be much more yellow than adults. This is because they go through a color change which is what gives them their ghostly look. #2 the Same can be said for spiders as they gain more white as they grow. #3 Most clowns are good quality. Both of the clowns you compared are good quality but for most which one is highest quality comes down to opinion. For example I like when my clowns are busy patterned but someone else might like more reduced clowns. Other than that Great vid as always!!
Could you do a head 2 head on similar morph combos like in butter/lesser black pastel/ cinnamon or on the different lines of a given morph like on axanthics or pastel
Chris me and a buddy are getting into the pied project we’re getting a visual pied and a het pied so we want to get a albino pied and get a female het albino and het pied will we be getting anything worth the front money investment? Also may want to get a banana het pied and a het pied hope to hit some banana pied. How could we hit a super banana pied?
I just thought of a question: What other snake species (besides corn snakes; I'm thinking exotic) would you consider breeding other than what you have now?

I should have more for sale mid to late summer. I should be producing some really neat combos this year, I'm pairing my Bamboo Calico with a Pastel Pinstripe. Should get combos of all four genes on that one. Also making a lot of straight Bamboos if I can get my females to lay eggs.

Usually they are less expensive, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Personally I really like the low white pieds. You can make them low white if you add Enchi.

Usually they are less expensive, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Personally I really like the low white pieds. You can make them low white if you add Enchi.
