I'm not telling you you should turn back if you have an engine failure on take off. I was just trying to have fun in my sim, simulating an engine failure on take off and see wether in my sim I would be able to turn back. So, don't try this in real life. Consult a certified flight instructor to discuss this matter.
Interesting inquiry! Makes me wonder what the chances are when the engine quits at 500 ft.... I must try this in the sim
May I ask what scenery you use in xp11? Is that photoscenery? I'm looking for photoreal scenery to practise navigation flights.
I like your channel, very interesting for me as a beginning ppl student ;-)
Keep up the good work!
Hi Filip,
Thanks for your comment!
I use the default scenery for EBKT, which is quite good in X-Plane. However, it doesn't (yet) take into account the current taxi ways works at EBKT.
As for the scenery around the airport, I use Orthophotos (Ortho4XP). Orthophotos consumes a massive amount of disk space, but is quite good if you choose the right provider. You'll find a lot of RUclips tutorials showing how to install Ortho4XP. Good luck with it and see you in the skies!

Thanks for the info!
