Exactly, its stupid. If your going to take parts from a car manufacturer to make an inline 6 rwd sports car, you cant do much better than bmw. Also it was either bmw joint partnership or no supra at all.
Only thing i hate on the mk5’s is how weird and large the steering wheel is, the airbag and the bit below are massive to look like a non m car wheel, the amount of exterior fake vents fucks me off also
dam i was like u i havent drove stick for 3 years then tried this, wanted the auto at first, but im so glad i got this instead, its so forgiving to drive and much easier than my previous 370z. I have not stalled once when i first test drove it brand new from the dealer.
Not a problem, you can't drift on the streets, and most race tracks will kick you out if you start drifting. So the manual handbrake would be useless in this case.
Anti theft device these days!
What if theif knows to drive manual?????
not very likely lol @@muzammilahmed8799

The bmw comments never get old and it’s usually people who can’t afford one. FYI The McLaren F1 has a bmw engine in it as well

Yeahh. It would have been fine if the car and the engine turned out bad. It's bandwagon at this rate.
Nah bmw makes dogshit manuals. That’s the problem

The shifter in the supra works better than any BMW currently available including the BMW M2
Absolutely. It’s a Toyota developed one, not just ripped out from a BMW
@@ProductReviewCars Wrong. It's the shifter of the M2, tuned by Toyota.

The MK5 Supra is a BMW with the reliability of a Toyota.
Only thing that scared me from getting a manual was the chance of a Money shift since I haven't driven manual in 15 years. Went for the auto. lol

No manual e brake though

Depends man, some people love to use it for drift and not every race ban drifting, depends on what kind of race are you talking about @@leomux2004

Is that the same gearbox that’s in my 2008 Corolla. Because it looks and sounds like it.
i can assure you, without knowing the actual answer, that it is not. You cant be thinking they put a 2008 corolla gearbox in a supra sportscar
