The guns are actually meant to be glued. You pick one configuration u want and glue it in place. In the instruction manual it also had the " U need glue" in there.
I've built a couple and own 4 of those figmas that come with these guns and while they can be assembled without glue they immediately fall apart the moment you put them in a figma's hand. the instructions also specify the need for glue.
