hi mate, awesome video. thanks for all the tips and info! i love bushwalking but since a back injury i havent been able to do much because of steep slopes and stairs etc. am planning on giving this small walk a try, would you be able to let me know if there are any steep parts on the walk and the gradient. thanks again.
dave.is.my.name for the most part the walk to Grahams Dam is flat and meanders alongside the river. There are a couple of minor rises and falls, but nothing strenuous that I recall. The gradients upstream of Grahams Dam can get very steep, particularly if you try and climb out of the gorge from there, so I wouldn't venture beyond Grahams Dam if you have a dodgy back. Also , make sure you can balance yourself across the two river crossings though as that could represent a hazard for your back? Both of them are in the video so you can get a sense of whether they will be an obstacle. Mackenzie Flat is still a nice spot even if you don't end up walking upstream. Good luck with it.
