Isn't that massive considering she's probably using a very head heavy racquet with 18g strings. Granted I am a male, but I'm probably the same height and/or weight as her and can serve much harder with a very "weak" racquet and 16g strings. Also, I serve harder than most other guys too. Not taking anything away from her serve, it's good, but it's not "jaw dropping" massive. Her serve looks harder than it is because of the way it's being recorded, the camera is right next to her so it sounds loud and fast because it's just coming off the racquet at that angle. Notice how it is basically "dead" or considerable slower when it goes over the net. When I serve, or other hard server serve, people are standing against the fence and it's going almost the same speed it came off of the racquet. And no I'm not a pro tennis player, nor am I an "amazing" tennis player. I'm actually a soccer player who happens to be very athletic when it comes to any sport.
@@dannylaza1326 have you ever tried to record your serve? would love to see that considering your talking alot of game here. Seems like my comment touched a sensitive spot for you lol. A massive serve is a massive serve regardless of what type of strings you are using.
@@pickabolt5480 I actually haven't. Although I have been requested to record it before from people online just like you. I can post a video if you really like me to, but your going to have to wait about a month. One of the best tennis performance for a recruiting video. Amazing power, technique and footwork. I hope this gets you some attention. I live in Florida and have seen the talent coming through Rick Macci Tennis Academy from various Div1 colleges and you would fit right up at the top if your match play is as good as this practice session.
very good footwork and ball striking. Excellent racquet head speed and control. I would also like to see a video of her in an actual match to show her strengths/weaknesses under pressure. That's what counts most !
Actually the coach pushed her more than previous videos of prospects I've seen and she worked very hard. This video should be a standard for recruiting videos. She should get some bites. I would definitely consider her for a spot.
Amazing racquet head acceleration, both sides of her groundstrokes were great. Neither side seemed lacking in control or power. Here's hoping Ms. Khan gets an athletic scholarship in the US! 🎉😮
Yes, she has good style, nice movement etc. Serve is fluid and almost perfect motion (maybe to add some more relaxed wrist) - backhand she needs to stay lower in my opinion. Iman: what is your ranking and tennis achievements so far?
Try to compact the backhand take back/ length of loop and you will catch the ball more out in front with your hands. I can tell Backhands might tend to linger mid court more than you'd like. So just a small adjustment, keep the hands ahead of your left shoulder on the loop instead of behind. Everything else about your ground strokes is smoooooth and natural power! Best of luck!
@@trex1448 Such a solid response back. I learned a lot from your comment. Thank you! I will change my ways of coaching especially with my top 100 in the nation players!
amazing power and technique, congrats! Wish you the best!! pd: is my idea or some parts of the videoarespeed up? specially on the volleys. I thought this because her footwork looks way too good to be real. I had to watch most of the video on 0.75 to enjoy her technique.
you can tell racket head speed by where you can get the ball to land in the court. A lot of short balls with big swings equals high racket head speed. Your feet seem very active but it doesn't seem to throw you off. Like to see you go after short high bouncers as I have seen pros many times let those drop. No returns in the video????
Nice hitting, can hear the solid contact pop (cannot happen if the racket head speed, footwork is not there, fitness), would love to see more of ther opponets hitting forehand winner and see her defense reaction, instead of opponents netting the balls on the net.
Everything here looks pretty much “textbook.” Very impressive all-court game based on this video…if she’s match tough as well, I could see a progression to the pro level.
She does move well. Almost too well, that it aroused suspicion. Someone flippantly said that the video was 1.5x. It's not, but then I looked at the court beside them, and the way some old person picked up the ball looked...unnatural. I suspect they sped up the footage by about 10%. She looks like Steffi Graf out there with her footwork.
Looks great ... tho hard to judge as hitting partner failed to push her. It is when a player is pushed when we see true potential. Good luck anyways ... ya go gal!
