They are phastuns ( pathan) not kashmiris. The story is all about tribal feud and one thing that is popular about pathans is wo dosti or dushmani qabar tak nibahty hain. The use of guns is normal thing for pathans and their women also know to use guns.

Khaie is an ancient tradition where the male members of an enemy's family are killed to stop the continuation of their lineage. (Generations) and the whole drama is based on that. This isn't a common thing practiced in Pakistan but this was a thing back in the days in Afganaihtan and some areas in Pakistan where some powerful and influential families (in small villages) controls the whole area so basically everything is under their rule and they're very cruel and oppressive and because they have power the police can't get involved. This is a tribal thing practiced back in the days.
P.s: this has nothing to do with pashtun culture.

That's Gilgit Baltistan... Northern areas' environmental is tough to handle...so natives are known to be "Pahari Log"... Pakhtuns are very brave but unfortunately this feudalism is demolishing their characters
