I love just laying here..listening and imagining what is going on to create the sounds- walking, doors slamming, chairs scraping! Thank you for these!

@@otrarchive You can see radio shows in theatres or preforming arts centers. They have the foley artists right on the stage.

I like the sound effects during the knock-down, bang-up, drag-out fights. I imagine the sound-effect guy at his table of gear, banging and rattling all kinds of stuff to bring the scene to life.

I just watched the tv one . They gassed him that first time they got em. It showed four cops standing around smoking ( of course) and drinking coffee . Getting Psyched up to go after Hoffman. No bullet proof vests..no nothing …they should have signed out a couple Thompsons .. spray down Hoffman’s hide out with a few 100 rounds .. that might get his attention 😎. Man what a dangerous job. I can’t imagine what they put up with today. God Bless Em 🙏🏼 that train shop guy was sure different on the tv show.. goof ball 🤪. I think he was one of the Spanky gang of kids ?

@HeyOldMan, I just watched the TV version as well. I wonder why they changed the bit with the Train Shop guy? They truly did change him into a joke. I enjoy these radio shows better than the TV version. The sound effects are loads of fun!. Only thing better on TV is seeing Joe Friday smile occasionally. 😀
