Headless Monk speaks in a Scottish accent because he speaks/ sings in a northern accent from the Northern part of China. So I guess they imagined the Scottish accent would be the equivalent in English.
Studied Language and Linguistics in university, I geek out over languages, dialects and accents 😁 played the game myself, both in Mandarin Chinese and English and that detail with the languages and accents made me appreciate the devs’ hard work in this game even more.

True but I’m dyslexic so it’s kinda hard to keep it subbed.
It’s always been goofy to me for people to games like sekiro or wukong in chinese/Japanese when they don’t speak or understand it 😂
