The thing I love about the gift from the princess who brought to sleep is that this is from the twisted perspective of margarita and how she’s convincing the audience that she is a good guy who is bringing joy and happiness to people by making them sleep while the novel shows us the truth she isn’t making people happy by putting them to sleep. She’s killing them with poison and is working with a criminal organization
if you think about it, it's kind of the same opposite of what happens in the Tailor of Enbinzaka. While in here we think that the singer is doing a good deed while in reality they're not, in Kayou's song the listener's made to believe that she's the bad guy. Well, the badder guy, she still did a pretty bad thing, but in doing so she kept in mind the well-being of pretty much anyone else and so on!
Let me see: -In the original sin story, he’s to blame for making Eve insane, causing her to steal Hansel and Gretel, which caused the release of the Seven Deadly Sins. -He killed Venomania in the Lust arc, he doesn’t have much to blame here. -From what I know, he doesn’t have blame here either. Unless he insisted for the marriage to be broken off. -After being possessed by Lust, he broke off the marriage with Rilliane as he was in love with Michaela, causing the Green Massacre. Part of the rebellion and allowed Allen to be executed, though that doesn’t change much. He was also possessed by Pride, which caused other things. He’s not the beginning though. -Yeah, he killed Kayo’s family. Started it, although his family didn’t deserve their fate. -Gallerian Marlon is the sinner. Very to blame. Also kind of to blame for Wrath arc, because not only is Nemesis his daughter, he was the one who ordered her to kill her lover, who was also Gammon Octo’s brother. -Gear is Adam, so still very to blame. I love how this song sounds like its being played like underwater. One could say drowned. Like the water sound affects at the beginning is like when you get water in your ear.
I don´t why but somehow this is the song that gets to me the hardest. All the sinners were basically broken from the beginning, probably more so than Margarita but I guess this is one of the few songs sung by the sinners themselves where you know exactly how broken and miserable they are (their misery´s mostly shown in the answer-songs). "I was already broken a long time ago, so I wanted to destroy all" just makes my chest ache somehow. I feel really conflicted about Eve though (but that´s part of why I love her character). While she was probably broken from her first life by being brainwashed and loosing her children and constantly lived the crappiest lives as her incarnations, she chose to ruin her happiness as Mikulia Calgaround by willingly killing her kind and loving husband for seemingly no reason at all. She also really seemed to enjoy her killings. But I guess the line "I was already broken a long time ago, so I wanted to destroy all" doesn´t just speak for Margarita but ALL Eve´s lives. I guess she has that drive subconsciously no matter what person she becomes. Still don´t know how bad I should feel for her at this point though and that´s actually the reason I find her such a good character :c
Actually, there's no confirmation that Irregular!Eve is a reincarnation of Eve Moonlit. That's just another new Eve, most likely because MOTHY hates us.
No, Gallerian's daughter was a normal girl, as far as I know. She isn't ACTUALLY a doll - Gallerian is just delusional and believes the doll is his daughter. The reason that doll appears during Margarita's story is because she represents the sin of sloth, and that doll is the vessel of the sin of sloth.
The way Margarita said "Nevertheless,I love you","But l loved you before" "Aside from that,I'm happy nonetheless" and "if I can be by your side" 0:49-1:12 Her voice was divided into 2 (if your listening in headphones or headset or if you listen closely) the right? she was happy while the left? Her voice was deep,saying that she keep a smile in her face even tho her husband was using her and was cheating on her.
I think it's a hinting towards the fact that Margarita is a doll and her body has been used as a vessel for various souls throughout the Evillious Chronicles. The doll resembles Eve's body and was used by Mikulia, Margarita, and Irina (who was Gallerian believed to be his deceased daughter, Michelle)
When I was taking German as a class, we had a trivia session, and one of the questions was, "Why wouldn't you want to be given a gift in German?" and I knew the answer INSTANTLY because I used to be obsessed with the Evillous songs

Since the lyrics are "Sleep with this [gift]," the translation is a huge twist that reveals Margarita is a murderer. It doesn't show up in this video, but it was such a dramatic twist that I've never forgotten it, so I mistakenly believed it was 😅
Shintarou Midorima I think she is because how went from killing her cheating husband to just killing everyone so callously. Remember she spread her GIFT among orphaned children after going after her husband and dad for no reason other than to test the effects.What made it worse is that mostly everyone still trusted her (because she was their beloved doctor's daughter) and didn't realize that she was slowly killing them all until most of Torgay was killed. Usually when people make a poison or illness like GIFT they make something to counter it. She didn't make one at all which means she had no way of stopping it if it ever got past Torgay. The people there are actually lucky that that dude snuck by the Sisters of Clarith to get sap from the new Millennium tree before it all started or everyone would have been screwed.
Xavier Stellan Yes she did. I mean Kayo's story and reason for doing what she did was just tragic. This sinner is the most frightening because of what she did. And heck Pere Noel was planning on using GIFT to spread around the world to make it even worse than Gula ever was since by this time Gula has a cure. At least with Gula you had a fighting chance which was to make sure your stomach was always full and just hope that the cravings it gave you was of edible stuff. With GIFT, without the sap of the Millennium Tree you were doomed just like Torgay was.
Ah, yes. The very first song that got me into Evillious Chronicles. It’s been a few years now... and I’m still revisiting this again and again. Margarita always was my favourite sin. Especially when I remember that she is/was Eve... Also, I like that whenever she speaks of the guy, there’s always a second voice singing. Eve really didn’t deserve everything that’s happened to her... She *is* mostly a bad person. I’ll have to admit, but, no one was really at fault here... and when that happens, blame everything on Seth.
I admit she refused to care for everything she did but I don't think Adam and Eve are bad people, they're victims of circumstances, who did bad things.
I live for the perspective this song presents, as well as how the PV is attempting to reveal to us the "truth" by showing Père Noël, "Hanna", and the newspapers *but*: the song itself is wonderful and, in my opinion, is the best thing when you can reveal its meaning. Margarita's voice breaks in high tones when she's close to the end of the "gift", as seen at 2:30. I think Margarita calling herself "Sleep princess" but until the end shows truly how Eve Moonlit (nearly every "reincarnation" prefers or is called with their husband's surname) is shining through the facade of "Margarita Blankenheim". At the end of the gift, it's not really Margarita speaking: It is Eve. Not the Eve Zvezda, witch of the forest, endearingly caring: no, Eve Moonlit, broken by life. Adam used to call her "sleep princess", and they both ran away to Held's Forest after Project Ma (4:14). This also shows how much Eve broke Margarita down with delusions as well. The same goes with the line "I was already broken a long time ago, I wanted to destroy everything". This line is, too, seen in the novel of the Sleeping Princess, noted by Elluka (who at the time was just Levia and a Behemo in slumber). "Eve was crazy. She had been broken a long time ago. -A very long time before." Even Margarita herself says that the kind of people she befriends or is acquainted with doesn't matter, as that's a true, genuine bond. She's often detailed as naive or liking praise but shows how much she resents or rather, is perplexed at her "situation" (as an unknowing doll). But that simply is a "cover", she feels truly detached from humanity and bitter towards others due to her own situation in contrast to her child self. She was delusional and largely influenced by "Sloth", by Eve. And I ADORE how this isn't truly Margarita's perspective but it isn't far off either. She was an influenced, delusional woman and even came to believe that everyone treated her like a doll, a belief reinforced by her lack of sleep. Surprise, clockworker doll! Aside the character and lyrics, the pacing and tuning of the song fits so well. Applauses to mothy, literally. Mario as well because damn, was this PV GOOD.
In Toragay, Elphegort, Margarita Blankenheim asks for someone to take her gift to sleep for the sake of their "happiness". She then speaks of how, even though her philandering husband, Kaspar, married her as part of an arranged engagement for her father's money and has forgotten their childhood promise, she still loves him and is alright with just being by his side. Claiming to be unable to handle seeing him always so weary, Margarita decides to give to him the "medicine" she learned to make from her friend Julia Abelard as a present. (Something like that right ? >.

I don´t why but somehow this is the song that gets to me the hardest.
All the sinners were basically broken from the beginning, probably more so than Margarita but I guess this is one of the few songs sung by the sinners themselves where you know exactly how broken and miserable they are (their misery´s mostly shown in the answer-songs). "I was already broken a long time ago, so I wanted to destroy all" just makes my chest ache somehow.
I feel really conflicted about Eve though (but that´s part of why I love her character). While she was probably broken from her first life by being brainwashed and loosing her children and constantly lived the crappiest lives as her incarnations, she chose to ruin her happiness as Mikulia Calgaround by willingly killing her kind and loving husband for seemingly no reason at all. She also really seemed to enjoy her killings.
But I guess the line "I was already broken a long time ago, so I wanted to destroy all" doesn´t just speak for Margarita but ALL Eve´s lives. I guess she has that drive subconsciously no matter what person she becomes. Still don´t know how bad I should feel for her at this point though and that´s actually the reason I find her such a good character :c

No, Gallerian's daughter was a normal girl, as far as I know. She isn't ACTUALLY a doll - Gallerian is just delusional and believes the doll is his daughter. The reason that doll appears during Margarita's story is because she represents the sin of sloth, and that doll is the vessel of the sin of sloth.
Ironic how she has her "medicine", and she's the daughter of a doctor.

Her voice was deep,saying that she keep a smile in her face even tho her husband was using her and was cheating on her.
I think it's a hinting towards the fact that Margarita is a doll and her body has been used as a vessel for various souls throughout the Evillious Chronicles. The doll resembles Eve's body and was used by Mikulia, Margarita, and Irina (who was Gallerian believed to be his deceased daughter, Michelle)

Gretel why? I thought the most dangerous sinner is MA from Tailor of Enbizaka.
Shintarou Midorima I think she is because how went from killing her cheating husband to just killing everyone so callously.
Remember she spread her GIFT among orphaned children after going after her husband and dad for no reason other than to test the effects.What made it worse is that mostly everyone still trusted her (because she was their beloved doctor's daughter) and didn't realize that she was slowly killing them all until most of Torgay was killed.
Usually when people make a poison or illness like GIFT they make something to counter it. She didn't make one at all which means she had no way of stopping it if it ever got past Torgay.
The people there are actually lucky that that dude snuck by the Sisters of Clarith to get sap from the new Millennium tree before it all started or everyone would have been screwed.

This sinner is the most frightening because of what she did. And heck Pere Noel was planning on using GIFT to spread around the world to make it even worse than Gula ever was since by this time Gula has a cure.
At least with Gula you had a fighting chance which was to make sure your stomach was always full and just hope that the cravings it gave you was of edible stuff. With GIFT, without the sap of the Millennium Tree you were doomed just like Torgay was.

Ah, yes. The very first song that got me into Evillious Chronicles. It’s been a few years now... and I’m still revisiting this again and again. Margarita always was my favourite sin. Especially when I remember that she is/was Eve...
Also, I like that whenever she speaks of the guy, there’s always a second voice singing. Eve really didn’t deserve everything that’s happened to her... She *is* mostly a bad person. I’ll have to admit, but, no one was really at fault here... and when that happens, blame everything on Seth.
I admit she refused to care for everything she did but I don't think Adam and Eve are bad people, they're victims of circumstances, who did bad things.

I live for the perspective this song presents, as well as how the PV is attempting to reveal to us the "truth" by showing Père Noël, "Hanna",
and the newspapers *but*: the song itself is wonderful and, in my opinion, is the best thing when you can reveal its meaning.
Margarita's voice breaks in high tones when she's close to the end of the "gift", as seen at 2:30. I think Margarita calling herself "Sleep princess" but until the end shows truly how Eve Moonlit (nearly every "reincarnation" prefers or is called with their husband's surname) is shining through the facade of "Margarita Blankenheim". At the end of the gift, it's not really Margarita speaking: It is Eve. Not the Eve Zvezda, witch of the forest, endearingly caring: no, Eve Moonlit, broken by life. Adam used to call her "sleep princess", and they both ran away to Held's Forest after Project Ma (4:14). This also shows how much Eve broke Margarita down with delusions as well.
The same goes with the line "I was already broken a long time ago, I wanted to destroy everything". This line is, too, seen in the novel of the Sleeping Princess, noted by Elluka (who at the time was just Levia and a Behemo in slumber).
"Eve was crazy. She had been broken a long time ago. -A very long time before."
Even Margarita herself says that the kind of people she befriends or is acquainted with doesn't matter, as that's a true, genuine bond. She's often detailed as naive or liking praise but shows how much she resents or rather, is perplexed at her "situation" (as an unknowing doll). But that simply is a "cover", she feels truly detached from humanity and bitter towards others due to her own situation in contrast to her child self. She was delusional and largely influenced by "Sloth", by Eve.
And I ADORE how this isn't truly Margarita's perspective but it isn't far off either. She was an influenced, delusional woman and even came to believe that everyone treated her like a doll, a belief reinforced by her lack of sleep. Surprise, clockworker doll!
Aside the character and lyrics, the pacing and tuning of the song fits so well. Applauses to mothy, literally. Mario as well because damn, was this PV GOOD.

何が言いたいのかって言うとgiftを飲んでだんだん意識が遠のいていってるのかな？ってこと
