Just to sum up, I think Klassic Rain is incredibly strong and this tactic is very effective in the moment, I don't hate the character, he just doesn't fit my playstyle and he is incredibly difficult to get to high fusion. That's it, if you have and if you enjoy him, CHEESE THEM ENEMIES:)

IMO klassic rain is being overrated now, agreed he is a gem of a character very versatile for all klassic teammates, but the main point comes that he is 99% P2W character almost no one wil leave him n he is perfect in boss fights as a support as he team soakes and rainden team kills bosses but if u have him at high fusion he can do it but he is not fun to play in survival as when he is max out he can't team soak as his sp2 will kill any character he faces, he can be close to mk11 scorpion for sp1 spam but if klassic rain can be a good fighter against bosses mk11 scorpion can be to as both can spam sp1 infinite times and sometimes sp2 for instant kill. But I think klassic rain is being overrated more than excepted(IMO)

Love these challanges between you and mand in which you say your opinions with complete respect and logic apart from being friends and all. I love klassic rain but being hard to get doesn't let him demonstrate how great he can be.

The factor of availabilty should always be considered. I got him once from the last battle of earthrealm tower, so I guess I got lucky. But that you can't get him and a lot of other kharacters if you're f2p hurts them so much. I can't rank any kharacter that's difficult to get higher than C. Nightwolf, Shang Tsung, both Rains and both Terminators (they are more accessible, but the pack to get them from happens maybe 3 times per year).
Mand and his love for klassic rain 😂😂 I mean wen i first fought wit klassic rain i almost cried....he is absolute beast to be honest.... Sp2 block breaker, snare and soak is way over the board 😂😂

as u said star ur true there are better options i personally also say he doesnt deserve S tier alongside klassic liu kang and strike force scorpion and mand isnt wrong also if u just have him maxed he would be amazing but as u said its almost impossible to get him to high fusion at least for now. even if i was against ur opinion i wouldnt dislike love your work star

Chaining SP 1 can be done by cyrax too, as well as any character which has stun on SP 1
It means that any way of infinite kombo is in fact situational and is also based on luck because if your opponent is a Jade or you're blind, some stupid modifier or revenant and bone shield as StarInSky said can ruin all the fight, so you also rely on your character by the ability to defend, that's why MK11 Scorpion is good even if he can't do his infinite and is also why Klassic liu Kang is still the admin of this game even if he don't have his infinite anymore, because they can defend theirselves.

Remember about passive of Shaolin Fist Kung Lao. This can be much faster with him
with such power generation Triborg Cyrax has a complete stun lock on SP1, with high damage on it and it's easy to get.

Just for the record. I didn't beat the boss battle in 1 go because I didn't want to. The point of the video was to showcase a strategy not to beat it in 1 go. My rain didn't have a single piece of earthrealm tower equipment. :) For survival just do sp2 and tag him out. The tag in klassic raiden. Enjoy. The team is klassic rain, Raiden and Liu Kang. The fuse on rain doesn't matter
doesn't matter in surviver ? , if you have klassic rain fusion 1 , or 2 , the other team have aftershock tremor , he tag in and your death , he stun you and your death ... if kassic rain is fusion 6 , or 7 , then you have a chance in SURVIVOR .

@@denidenisa6301 That's fine. The moment Tremor tags you in he will be crippled and / or weakened. I beat many many elder towers with f0 klassic rain and f 10 raiden and KLK. Tremor doesn't even qualify as a problem. If you fear him that much give rain gear to resist stun.
I'd say there are other characters that can snare on sp2 with grapple, like inj Raiden for example, but I totally agree that using low fusion card in survivor is a suicide cause of klassic scorpion and tremor

If your argument on spamming is not being fun then the same applies for other characters that can also do it. You don’t have to play this way with Klassic Rain on quick battles since you can play him differently in this mode since you have fusion boost and can try him out on fusion X and do other moves and combos with him which is fun.
You should only spam when you have to or have no choice.
I think he should be at least A because he's good but also the fact that you can't get him being a Free To Play should be considered too
Well if you're stuck on some battle in the tower he's the guy you go to, I'm lucky I got him on my first normal earthrealm tower run

i 100% agree with you,you play the game for fun,but like this its no fun. You can just use him to win but its no fun at all😀
it's not compulsory to play the character with just this strategy. if you need some fun, play normally without necessarily spamming SP1 (like challenge yourself to play without sp1, after all the same could be said about mk11 skorpion spamming sp1) or best of all try not to get 7 stacks of power gen quickly or even play outside klassic team. the only problem with the character is difficult to get

Anyone else have the same opinion as StarlnSky? But there's a slight difference my oppion is the same but if you just have uncommon rare and 4 non tower epics it's kinda fun but it gets boring if you just spam sp1 but mk some mk11 characters like mk11 scorpion mk11 kabal it's more fun playing those characters because they are easy to obtain and are more fun if you have an mk11 team and if you put effort in the fighting but power gen in klassic rain and spamming sp1 is really not that fun and not efficient but if you have crit and some dot talents it's kinda fun but in the same time it's not that good if you have him at lvl20 but lvl40+ all characters or all diamond characters are really good but some mk11 characters like mk11 scorpion mk11 jade and mk11 subzero is more fun and you feel satisfied by them because there's a risk if you get hit once the feeling of something like that is pretty good so that if they nerf power gen you know what characters to use but klassic rain he is heavily dependent on power gen so that if power gen gets nerfed it's really hard to adjust to every piece of content like tower for example you need a LOT of skill to just make it to battle 100 and a high dmg output but klassic rain is really bad if ther power gen gets nerfed because he wouldn't be able to spam sp1 anymore but he is fast but weak at a low fusion and there's no reliable way to get him from early to mid if your acc is lvl60 and have almost all the golds but 10 or 11 golds left to get and have like 6 diamond characters like me it's really hard but mk11 scorpion is the best when it comes to cost and hid basic attacks and if the enemy heals from dots keep in spear spamming and if you are crippled he is fast enough to be a god at his basic attack speed he can punish the enemy and ots really satisfying and the feeling of getting hit and losing any characters that are fast and you love its really fun to clear stages and the feeling of risk of losing maked you use your skill and not just like 3 basic sp1 3 basic sp1 he is not that good of a character and for me if I had a tier list I would but him at b- for all my reasons.
I don't care for this cheese, I think he is great even without it, he alone can be quite crazy value for any variation of klassic team, and that alone makes him s tier for me
But also the fact that he's basically a paid character and the only way you can get him is from the prize pool of ERT 200 which btw has "increased chances" of 3% makes him a b for me as well lol
And he is an absolute disadvantage in survival if you're planning on using sp1 spam and the opponent has bone shield.

I think Sub Zero is much better it spamming sp 1. Freeze hit hit freeze. With the new power generation buff opponents can't do a sht. Plus I believe even bone shield wouldn't help much.
No he isn’t since they can break out of the loop while they can’t with Rain or MK11 Scorpion.

It's pretty easy to spam klassic noobs special 1 too since they can't block ANY attack for 10 seconds once they're hit with it. Klassic Kano is very underrated as well. He's a walking stunning machine.

I only use jade for the snare cause at like level 40 like 7,000 power isn't that strong for me.
I still have a bunch of luck on the other packs though lmao

I'd give rain A tier he doesn't need to spam sp1 or team soak he just feels smooth to play but I can't give him S because the best ability is availability he's really a money only character and Noone us gonna have him maxed out. You don't even face him in fw because nobody has him at a decent enough fusion to use him

I agree more with Mand and I love Starinsky. Starinsky opinion is more about satisfaction (emotions) while Mand is more on passive, gameplay, ease of use, synergy with many other players and mostly the ability to destroy bosses. (Same measurement he uses on other MK cards). Hence Mand opinion is more neutral and better subjective.
But this is a video game, whats the point of playing it if you dont have fun/satisfaction?
But if you remove 'satisfaction' from how good a character is to play in a 'game,' there isn't much left to discuss about the 'game.'

I definitely agree to this because u play games to have fun (atleast I do) and this in my opinion is not fun this is good in battles that u cannot defeat and u just use rain but in other battles it's not fun
Second thing this will be only useful in towers because it always trigger revenent or bone shied and u can get counter attacked and I most cases your rain will be only at fussion 0 max fusion 3 unless u are paying thousands of dollars so he will die from I full combo ( note this is not sp1 spam it's rain raiden synergy )
And let's face it if u have maxed out diamonds character normal tower battles they are easy and boss battles...... well again what's the fun in that

I agree, the fact that you can only get him from ert 200 along with other random diamonds and has an "increased chances" of 3% automatically makes him an A for me and the other way to get him is from his paid pack which has 20% chance of dropping him and is not even guaranteed and that you could keep going on and on without getting a single card is just really not worth it.
