What happened when I IGNORED my videographer for a whole day at Yankee Stadium?

- How does it feel to spy on me for an entire Major League Baseball game? That's kinda the vibe, right? The New York Yankees faced the Los Angels Angels on April 19, 2023, so there were lots of superstars once again: Aaron Judge, Mike Trout, and Shohei Ohtani.
From the NYC subway to the line outside Gate 8 to chasing home run balls in the left field bleachers and hanging out with a ton of friendly fans, this day had it all . . . and I gotta say that it was VERY relaxing as a RUclipsr not to have to worry about anything at the stadium. I just did my thing and let my videographer worry about everything else.

I love both formats of videos. This is a refreshing, different take, on a day in the life of Z being a Z. Like others have said, you should definitely use this format from time to time!

I'm 99% sure you won't be coming to Coors Field this year but they do have 30th anniversary games this year. May 28, June 11, July 30, Aug 19, and Sept 16. Just wanted to let you know if you wanted another special ball. Either way have a great season and thank you for the content!

Hey Zack, just want to say thanks for all your video. I was a BIG baseball fan in the 90s. Especially the Atlanta Braves when they won the 95 World Series and when they did it again is 2021. But after seen your video i felt in love with baseball ALL over again that I can’t wait to see a live game. Thanks for the tips on seat geek. Can’t wait to buy my tickets. That coach with the fungo is Benji Gil. World champion with the 2002 Angels and, more recently, manager for team Mexico in the WBC. We love Benji in Anaheim.

Zack, I've always been curious. I am at Yankee stadium for at least 5-10 games per year. How do you manage to move to all these sections? Security is generally a real pain in the a** about checking tickets wherever I sit. Do the stadium personnel just know you at this point?

Nice alternative format. Maybe a complete sounds of the game, asmr type thing would be cool too. Do a noir black and white one. Put an old timey filter on and make it look retro.

So you take the 1 train from 79th St and take that up to 96th St where you transfer to the 2 train and take that up to 149th St Grand Concourse where you transfer to the 4 train to get to Yankee Stadium? How do you get from your apartment to Citi Field do you take the 1 train all the way down to Times Square 42nd St and transfer to the 7 train or do you take the 1 train to 72nd St and transfer to the 2 or 3 express to Times Square where you get the 7 train to get to Citi Field?
I happened to watch another NYC RUclipsr tried to change the video style like you did. More editing with commentary added in. It’s different, but definitely felt really odd because of the sudden change of style. Keep experimenting. Play around with your creativity and style. As for the hate, I’m sure it’s the past that affected them. Hey at least you have RUclips as the platform to show your side of the story and let people to decide. You are you. And you are trying to be a better self as you get older.
PS. I was actually at that game. Sitting with the bleacher creatures. Will say hi if I ever bump into you.

I liked the new format. Not sure if I'd hope it's a permanent replacement, at least not yet, but I wouldn't mind seeing it again. One question, though - were your comments spontaneous, or did you write a script and work from that?
Definitely not permanent. No script. I went through all the footage, decided what to keep and what to cut based on what looked interesting and/or what I could say about it and then just winged it. I didn't record it all in one take. I'd talk for 30 seconds or a minute and whenever I messed up or needed to think about the next section, I'd stop and pick it back up. It was a fun creative challenge but took a loooong time.
Interesting video style. I think this is good for if you ever go to a game where it’s too loud and you can’t talk much or you’re just not happy with the talking points. I liked how you showed yourself traveling on the subway in this video.
