- We've visited Boudha a lot of times but haven't spent a night there, this time we stayed over at Hotel Dolmaling for the weekend. We also invited our friend's to join us for Boudha food hunt since it's also Tyson's hometown. We tried the famous momo, shafale, dry thukpa, laphing and ghiu chya. In front of Monastery (Same Compound) they sell meat 🍖 items' which is not Good..
I believe there is no monastery there, it is only a old shrine which is inside hotel property.
The monastery and the monks has moved away from boudha since boudha is very commercial now.

Isn't it the long route to go from Ramhiti chowk to reach that hotel? Or maybe because you guys have 4 wheels. But from behind stupa taking the route from Shambala restaurant is much easier and shorter.

Yes 4 wheels. and it's for people who come from the city. Boudha people would know the place quite easily
@@samaya6496 yes Boudha people can find it easily. I'm sure it is for the city people who come for the first time. 2 wheelers can take the route from Shambala chowk from stupa alley. PS: Can be tricky for some.
