I was appalled to see Piers Morgan’s latest episode of Piers Morgan Uncensored where he hosted a panel discussing the Baby Reindeer story. He stated that Fiona Harvey cannot be considered a “real stalker” because she obeyed Laura Wray’s interim interdict! He undermined one of the stalkers first documented victims and did it when she was safely out of the room, giving her no right of reply. Gaslighting for clicks now?

I too found Laura Wray to be very credible and pray she is not victimized further but she already is alas.
I also did not understand why Piers did not challenge Fiona more on why she was so certain it WAS her depicted as Martha, since she was sitting there claiming all these errors in her portrayal...
Oh he said that did he! She didn’t adhere to the interim interdict she left the jurisdiction of Scotland that’s what she did. I haven’t heard the panel but it’s typical of Piers. People like him because they think he stands for the truth, just like his big mate Trump so sometimes he’ll get it right but most of the time he’s still a Murdoch stooge.

Laura Wray also said she thought Fiona Harvey didn’t know the interdict was valid for one year and a day, and perhaps Fiona thought it was valid for much longer hence Fiona backed off!
I think one of the most despicable things Fiona Harvey did to Laura was calling Child Protection Services claiming Laura’s son Frankie was being abused! Fiona is a dangerous woman in my opinion.

As someone that has experienced stalking and the police doing nothing because " the person hasn't physically hurt you or entered your house" I know they can have various people they stalk and the change between them. I thought many times that everything was over until letters started to appear again ( after I blocked the person on the phone and changed my number and didn't have it public) . They can start again after years between the harassment.
The admiration wore off the day he participated in Catherine Princess of Wales' witch hunt. From a truth defender back down to a cheap sensationalist.

This is now being taken up by senior Kings counsel on behalf of Harvey. All must be careful because it's now pre judicial. I would expect the advocate Wray would have advised Morgan of that herself.

Laura Wray, is a highly respected advocate in Scotland, she and her family and Laura Wray's employees went through a great deal because of Fiona Harvey and it seems that there were other people within other law firms who were subjected to Fiona Harvey's rants, according to Laura Wray. I think we should listen and believe Laura Wray 100% as there is no way that as a respected advocate, Laura Wray would be interviewed on TV and not give a true account of what happened to her and her family. I have no doubt when Baby Reindeer hit the screens, Laura Wray would have felt she was being dragged back into a nightmare and is now concerned for her safety, however let's hope not. as for Piers Morgan the least said about him the better, he has more faces than a town clock.

Like a lot of people on here, I unsubscribed from Piers and Kinsey when they jumped on the nasty bandwagon bullying Catherine. Neither apologised, and Kinsey cried for herself not for what she said.

Add Megyn Kelly to that list! She and four numbskulls on her show joked about Catherine and they also jumped on the alleged affair bandwagon between Prince William and Rose Hanbury! Giles Coren who started the rumour of the affair as a joke has repeatedly stated that it was a joke and there was no, never has been, never will be an affair between Rose and William. Regardless, the gutter press continued with the rumour until Rose Hanbury took legal action against Stephen Colbert. None of them apologised!

I went off Piers Morgan when he trashed Princess Catherine over the Mothers Day Picture he was relentless HE NEVER APOLOGISED. A Dr Tess a guest who is a very outspoken guest who goes on Piers show often and a Harry and Megan supporter called him out she actually apologised for her comments she made but had a go at Piers for not doing the same. I've never watched him since.
Dr Tess is appalling, I think they decide who is going to say what on each program. I unsubscribed over Catherine. I was disgusted.

When commentators give their opinions as Piers Morgan did in this highlighted show, there can be repercussions that strike deep within a person's life. Shauna saw this happening and, instead of walking on by, called it to our attention. This is not easy to do and I applaud her. Not many heroes among us but this counts as a heroic incident. I no longer believe a word Piers Morgan says, It seems it's all about making waves where there were none in other people's lives and making un confirmed assumptions. I'm up way too late in the US...having just watched the Laura Wray interview and the Fiona Harvey one too. HORRIBLE what Ms. Wray went through! Piers is just a real pisser! He intentionally riles the public to keep people engaged. Every time I give him another chance, he does the same crap.

As a woman who has been stalked by an ex-boyfriend during my college years I find it appalling how the media is doing their best to portray Fiona Harvey as the victim. I am sick and tired of the inequality in how men and women are treated in the judicial system and society, even today in the age of equity/equality.
Piers Morgan says what will bring him the most clicks and comments. Katie Hopkins has said that Piers has no moral compass, and I couldn’t agree more with that statement.

I couldn’t believe how two faced Piers was when he had one of the loudest mouths against Princess Catherine’s photo realise on Mother’s Day and the ‘where is Kate’ campaign. I was so disgusted with him and realised his principles were lower than a snakes belly, so lost all respect I had for him. Needless to say I unsubscribed.

They weren’t just fake but depicted British soldiers behaving appallingly to prisoners. Hence why he lost his job you think he has your back but he only has his own. He had an agenda with ME ME and hence his anger towards her.

@@kymdagnall8344 yes, l remember that. I actively blocked him on anything for a very long time after that - l believed he put soldiers lives in danger by stirring hatred. I only started to warm to him again when he called M & H out on their Oprah interview and was prepared to stand by what he said. He does seem to have maybe spent too many years "chasing headlines" and it's become a habit (for want of a better term) for him. I only occasionally checked up on him even after he lost his job - it'll be a long time before l bother again.

I haven’t watched that episode yet but I had to get a restraining order against my ex husband. When he challenged it in court he tried saying there had been no issue since it was enforced to which the judge replied “which means the restraining order did it’s job”! This is exactly the same situation. So wrong of Piers to say what he did!

I haven't watched Piers for quite some time. I couldn't handle that hateful woman he had on all the time, I can't think of her name right now. Contrast the amount of indignant enraged moral squealing that PM has indulged in against Ms Markle over the last few years for the way she has treated people, including him, with his casual dismissal here of a true victim's experience of sustained mental and emotional abuse by a real stalker. In fact, go further: the amount of effort PM has put into denigrating Ms Markle (for whom, btw, I hold no sympathy) simply because she ghosted him when he was no longer of use to her, could arguably be said to have parallels with her stalker's behaviour as recounted by Laura Wray. Interesting.

Thank you Shauna for highlighting what Piers Morgan said about Laura Wray after interviewing her. I agree with everything you say about Piers Morgan. I live in Glasgow and know a lot of people who know Laura Wray and can tell you that she's a very hard working and highly respected lawyer. She is down to earth and credible.
Thank you, Shawna, for bringing this to light. More times than not, victims are discounted or just not believed. We are exaggerating, or we're unbalanced. I won't go into my story, but I will say that as a victim, it's a trauma that stays for often a lifetime. It causes PTSD, inability to trust, insecure in your own abilities of assessment of people, etc. It's being victimized all over again if law enforcement, people you care about, etc. discount the seriousness of stalking which in my opinion, is a form of control & abuse!
Shame on Pierce Morgan - I'm disappointed & angry that he would be so very insensitive!

I watched the interview with Piers Morgan and Laura Wray and Laura came across as totally intelligent and honest. I believe her!
What it proves about Fiona Hervey is that she doesn’t understand the law like she claims. Even Laura Wray said she didn’t think FH realised the writ only lasted a year.
I’m totally in agreement with you. My thoughts are this woman should not financially gain from her criminal behaviour. She should have been jailed for what she did not only to Laura Wray and Richard Gadd but also the people who worked for Laura or were in any way connected to her. Telling one man who was crippled that no one in Laura’s office liked him because of his disability. She is a nasty piece of work and should be stopped. I hope, if she wins her case, she is awarded $1 for damages. By the way, she never apologised and never refuted the allegations, just that she was never jailed. One other victim was terrified when child welfare came to investigate him for abusing his children on her report. He was completely exonerated. This woman should be ashamed and she should have the book thrown at her which is exactly why Gadd wrote about his experience with her. A Vile, vindictive and dangerous woman who should be in a mental hospital ‘at the king’s pleasure’.
I’ve stopped watching lots of people here on RUclips after they showed their true colours bullying Princess Catherine and Piers is just one of them. I don’t care whether they’re RUclipsrs themselves or news presenters or guests of any channel. If they’ve lost my trust, I don’t care to hear whatever they have to say.

I don't have Netflix, and have no intention of ever watching Baby Reindeer because those situations are worse than any horror story. Your account of Laura Wray's experience proves that. If Piers M did behave like that (haven't watched him recently, he seems to thrive on sensationalism and I can't stand some of his regular guests, but I believe you) then I really think that he should do the right thing and give Ms H a job, maligned as she is. Give her a break, Piers, gentleman that you are, I'm sure she will be an asset to your team. /s.

I haven't watched that episode but if I did I would be as angry as you are. Laura came across as a perfectly honest and balanced person and her ordeal should not be minimised. Perhaps because she was abke to tell it in a balanced manner, understandable as she is a Barrusterm, she did not give Piers enough sensationalism and clicks that he decided to gaslight her. Piers Morgan has made a very nice living out of inflaming situations. Whether blowing with the wind, or go against the grain, he’s doing it in his interests. There are times he will tell the truth, but it’s always to benefit him. I haven’t seen the third instalment of interviews, but I’m not surprised he devalued Laura Wray’s account behind her back. She is a decent, empathetic and credible person; an experienced Advocate who would not be drawn into an emotional argument. In order to inflame more debate and keep this lucrative story going, he has to devalue her behind her back. No-one should be surprised; it’s the work of a cheap gossip whose bread and butter is other people’s misfortune.

Laura was 100% believable in that interview with Piers, at no time did it seem she was embellishing or dramatising any of the events, she didn’t have to, they were horrifying unfiltered. Piers should be ashamed of himself, what possible reason could he have for undermining her like that!
Netflix, as usual, misleading people exactly as they did with The Crown series. Hoping things will come out as true which patently aren’t. They actually stated that it was true in BR but declined in The Crown series to say that it was fictional…..booo Netflix.

In my opinion, Piers Morgan is just like Meghan Markle. He was not very nice to Princess Katherine and he never apologized.

He gave respectful time to the ultimate conspiracy theorist's of the most awful theories and it was most disrespectful to Catherine and the RF. He didn't even care to challenge them but said It's fair assumption though he may not agree. This was an entire live! Disgusting. If this had of been done to JD, he'd have blasted people talking about him like that. I unsubscribed from that live.

His appalling gas lighting and downplaying of what she endured is disgraceful.
The “not knowing” fear can be far more frightening than something actually happening.
For instance; When we watch a horror, of listening to a ghost story ( very apt ) the tension and fear is built by the anticipation.
The character walking in a dark corridor, the door they have to open, not knowing what’s behind causes far more fear.
So to know what a volatile, unpredictable person might, could or would do next is terrifying!
Morgan will agree, disagree, challenge, defend depending on which narrative feeds his standing, his popularity or, even his infamy within media either will do!

I can't listen to Piers Morgan's programme because of all the people talking at once. He doesn't seem to be a nice person. I didn't see his rant against the dreaded Meghan but I thought it was just too abusive when I heard it reported.
Well done Shauna. A well balanced report. I actually knew nothing of the case or read book/play. Nor had I heard of the women. But after listening to your run down of the case and the fact that Laura was given a restraining order (or whatever it’s called in Scotland) says a lot. Then to hear how Fiona accused and reported people for child abuse is horrendous. Hopefully all children were old enough to speak up for themselves. She (Fiona) is sick. For Piers to cast aspersions on Laura’s integrity is despicable.
I always thought so highly of how Piers conducted himself challenging and calling out Meghan Markle and Harry and supporting the Queen and Prince Philip. So it’s hard to hear he’s turned into an a$$e over Catherine’s illness and photos and now about Laura. Really disappointed in him. I thought he was better than that.

What needs to be understood and clarified about Baby Reindeer is that in the first episode, where it states "this is a true story," that this is the true story of Donnie.( Based on the experience of Richard Gadd)
The last scene in the last episode shows Donnie typing the beginning of a manuscript, which may have very well been the beginning of Baby Reindeer.
What is being confused is that people are assuming that because Richard Gadd has experienced this, written, acted, and produced this series - that it is truth verbatim, not leaving room for artistic licence. Everything in this storyline is Donnies experience, and Donnies true story.
we need to remember it is Donnie, not Richard Gadd, in the series Of Baby Reindeer. The same applies to the character Martha. However, the character Martha is based on a person Gadd had known and had these experiences, which Gadd created in a script, his experience of this person in his life. Who we have all now is Fiona Harvey by way of her coming out to say that this is about me.
In a legal case, which she is attempting with Netflix, the facts are her histrionic behaviour, proven, and that Baby Reindeer is about a fictional character saying, "This is my true story". She has lost before she has even begun.
Maybe if there was true justice , she will start to stalk pierce and let’s see how he likes it🤬🤬🤯
I unsubscribed Piers Morgan for the way he treated princess Catherine. I no longer trust much of anything he has to say. I fully agree with you Shauna, Piers did a horrific thing. IMO Piers is doing this for more clicks, or maybe Fiona is threatening him now. I hate when people like Piers assume that we are not intelligent enough to work it out for ourselves. How dare he try and gaslight us. I will never ever be subscribing to his channel ever again.
