Man anyone saying this band's music won't be remembered in 20 years is full of it. I won't forget I stand alone, whatever, crying like a bitch, when legends rise, 1000 horsepower, moon baby, and something different. These songs made me a fan.
Wish they would let the fans pick the set list. It would be fascinating to see a poll of that list with a minimum two hour set. Best band ever to see live. Can't wait till they hit Detroit.
I’m seeing them tonight in Detroit too bro! I’ve seen them twice over 20 years ago. I’m hoping they play some more of their older songs, but if not, it’s still going to be an awesome show! They are definitely one of the best bands I’ve seen in concert! The original members of Korn were absolutely incredible when I saw them in 2001.
I was there. I live in Raleigh and drove to Charlotte for this concert because Raleigh wasn't listed when tour was first announced. May now also go to Raleigh show. I only recorded 4 songs at this one though... Awake, Voodoo, Under Your Scars, and Surrender
Thank you so much for this!! Seeing them in Toronto in August. Godsmack was my first concert back in 2011 in Hamilton, ON. Gonna be cool seeing them for a second time since. Especially the fact they have FUCKING PYRO!!!!
@jamesrodolfo8068 Sully was fighting a cold so the show was cut short. It was still a kickass concert but I was disappointed not see "I stand alone" live
They didn't play "I Stand Alone"? This would have to be the first time I've seen them leave that off a set list. Hate I missed this show. Thanks for sharing
I was there! I finally went to see them after being a fan for many many years. I seen shinedown in September and as bad I hate to say SD put on a better show than Godsmack and that's coming from someone who has a Godsmack tattoo on their body.
Thats wild. I got back from the powertrip festival in october and i still think Godsmack is one of the best live performances ive seen. SD must be killer!
They know how to put on a good show, no doubt about it, but this set in particular is lacking some tunes from their catalogue that are staples of their career. No "Straight out of line"? "Serenity"? "Moon baby"? "Saints & sinners"? "Bad religion"? "Re-align"? "Speak"? I don't know, even if I had the chance to see them, I think I would pass this time. Their prime was around the "Faceless" era. Once they released "IV" they mellowed a bit (especially Sully; I miss angry Sully! Lol).
@@obychnyichelovek6757 these guys have been around since 1997 or so, but still, there are quite few people out there (me included) who haven't had a chance to watch them play live. If you attend a concert by a certain artist, it is reasonable to expect they will play at least some of their best known songs. Imagine going to an Alice in Chains gig and having them not play "Would?" or "Rooster", or going to a Depeche Mode one and them not playing "Enjoy the silence" or "Walking in my shoes". It's part of their craft.
@@augart89 I can easily imagine something like that since i don't love the band for only their hit songs Anyway, Sully said in an interview they are going to play their greatest hits after this tour is over, so i think some of songs you mentioned are gonna be included in the setlist
@@augart89ude. How old are you? Faceless was 20 years 5 albums and 18 top 10 hits ago. You may not like the new stuff but legends and lighting up the sky at probably their best albums. Certainly not their heaviest but still probably their best work. If you want would time bomb moon baby and rooster go listen to the oldies station. Cuz these guys are still making great new music deal with it.
Oh my god, with all the fucking advertisements I would hate for Godsmack to interrupt them!!! What are you trying to get rich off one video.. not happening with me..

I flew out to Dallas, TX weekend of Mother's Day to see them, they pull one hell of a show on. I will always be a God Smack fan for life.

Like them so much I have a giant godsmack sun symbol tattoo covering a good portion of my back..wished I could post a photo here 😔

Slipknot would argue on best band live or even lamb of god .

Maybe if Slipknot's guitarists could actually make their solos easy to listen live.

Shoutout to the sound engineer…one of the best mixes I’ve heard in a long time.
This will be the fourth time I've seen them and they are from around my area this is the last time I will see them
Wow no "I Stand Alone" that is really surprising, you would think that is a must song no matter what.
It's played on the encore but dufus
closed up shop .. it's the last song on every stop

The played someday and a bit of System of a Down on guitar.
God is easy, it’s people who make him complicated. You choose to choose him or not. It’s not complicated.

I've honestly prefer when the set doesn't just feature the same old songs all other again
