In the recent update of DJMAX RESPECT V, the song Imaginary Dance has received new vocals, replacing the old one for reasons I won't be detailing here (it's quite the rabbit hole). This is simply a video that compares the two versions: the Left Ear side for the old vocals, and the Right Ear side for the new ones.
It took me a while to get used to the new vocals, but it does suit both the background video and the motif of the song better, I think. Let me know in the comments on your thoughts about this change.
I actually made a duet version or something like that. I would have preferred the old version better.
I'd like old and new version
Such a great way to ruined such a good and great rhythm game by making such a bad update that hurts it and ruined the game for anyone like I prefer the old vocal.
Of this song the original Vocal for this song was so great and amazing from the first time I first play this song when I got the v extension 2 music pack to play all of the songs.
And when I first play this song I really like it and the voice of the singer but since they changed it with a newer singer just sounds awful comparing it to the old version.
Like damn it's so unfortunate that a new game update came for a video game like this one that you either have been playing for so long from someone like me has about 316 hours
On this game just to play it again and play this song just to noticed the song has been changed.. :/
They really made a polarizing decision of changing the vocals, just to be no longer be associated with the old vocalist due to a Korean gaming industry-specific controversy.
I tried asking friends (both rhythm gaming and non-rhythm gaming) about which version is better, and in both categories, it's almost a 50/50
the singer of original version was controversial for her misogynistic comments on twitter , so they needed to change the vocal.
@@qwpozxmn825 Oh yeah? just to ruined the game and ruined a great song by changing the vocal that doesn't sound as good like the original one?
Even when there people like me weren't even aware about it?
@@megamanmegamanmegamanmegam8725 it was inevitable, like glory max BGA. It was originally supposed to be made by another company, but disclosure was delayed due to controversy over that company's hiding of many misogynistic expressions in other works. While it may not be very controversial in the U.S., DJMax is a Korean game, and in Korea, it is highly sensitive to such controversy. i also love the original version.🥲
You do know that the old singer was canceled due to her feminazi behaviour?
I hate the new version.

Same this makes me not want to play djmax respect v anymore
@@qwpozxmn825 But what exactly did she say?
