Agreed on the initiative tokens. I use the color goal tokens for that. I usually play it with 2 people, so I take the goal markers (which are 2 of each color) and place one in my board and the other one in the initiative board. So I go by color to id the characters not by the image. Do so with the enemies as well. And it works. I agreed on the insert. I took it out and reuse a wingspan european expansion box (without the lid and some hard foam to keep them in place) as the card organizer and fits inside the main box very well. All the other items goes in baggies and it closes with no lid lift. No issues with the dice rolling and attacks chances so far. I think that with the nexus system and the quantum reserve (which is free action anytime) you can have a simple plan to mitigate the dice rolling and still have other actions. To me i have always done something in my turn even if i failed the attack. Also the citadel data of the enemies will help me stratagize knowing what that enemy is more likely to be doing. Also as you clean your completed columns or rows, do discard some basic cards. That will greatly improve your future actions as you do not have basic cards clogging your hand. I started doing that in scenario 3 and my turn were more exciting and significant.
Great review! I’m really liking this one and can’t wait to keep playing. I agree with your “quibbles” as well. The initiative tokens are too small and I really wish they would have made the ini board dual layered (one slot per row). The tokens slide on it too easily and since they are so small, they are easily nudged. Also the (lack of) insert is pretty bad, but what is worse is they don’t even give you baggies for all the stuff after you punch them out. My own minor quibble, at 3:22 the initiative changes happen in L-R, T-B order, you don’t reveal the enemy cards before you can pick your card. It may just have been the way you said it in the overview and not how you played though and I misunderstood. Cheers!
Let's go! I am so glad everyone is enjoying their time in Naviri!
Squishier fruit for the win! I'd go to Naviri just for that!!

thanks so much!
I played it correctly, but did not make it clear enough in the video. Thats a great point.
@@HungryGamerReviewsI figured as much, but you asked to point things out haha
@@picklebuckeye oh 💯. I'll be adding a Klingon title to clarify!
Going through the campaign with my group and loving it!🎉
Awesomeness
I’m having a great time with this game.
As well you should
How would you say this stacks up against Tales from the Red Dragon Inn?
Tales is currently my all time fav dungeon crawl.
