Sinful Passion is still in my Dimash's top 10 (I think, with him you never know). There are at least 5 magnificent live performances of this masterpiece sung by Dimash, all of them extraordinarily magnificent. There are also some fancams worth seeing, in which small details reveal that the real dimension of this unique and incomparable artist is simply immeasurable.

This one has zero post production as you should notice. It is as raw as Dimash singing in bathroom. Yet his live sounds as perfect as a studio version. That’s Dimash!
First,: Ave Maria is a superhuman vocal exception, which takes you by surprise. Being a vocal song, a pure masterpiece, the magic of Dimash's voice is unleashed in the ether and is the fire that burns the soul and heart through love, beauty, elevation and purity. The cello is enchanted and embraces the essence of Dimash's voice as in a perfect symbiosis, and the vocal chords transport you to another dimension.Second: From my point of view, I cannot make a top ranking of Dimash's songs, the original ones, regardless of the composer (Igor, Dimash or someone else), leaving aside the covers. I come back to the idea, so I can't make a top. Why? Simple: each song by Dimash has a different theme, a different melodic line, different feelings, different tonalities. Each track is unique in lyric, interpretation, musical essence and message. If you listen to one, you like it more, if you listen to another, you like it even more, you can't decide because you can't. There are pieces with a religious touch, patriotic pieces, pieces of love, pieces of courage etc. If in an interview Dimash was asked what song he likes, I don't know what answer he would give... Almost all of them are masterpieces. It is as if Dimash is a father of dozens of children. I don't think he could tell a difference between them. Thank you for analyzing this particular version of "Sinful Passion". It's absolutely the best video for a voice teacher to watch. The official recording from Sochi, Russia on Dimash's channel has so much post-production nonsense, such criminal editing, that many viewers are left questioning its authenticity. This version from Moscow is so raw and unprocessed. It makes very clear, and close-up, the reality of the incredible voice that this one-of-a-kind singer unleashes on stage.
For those who like information about Dimas’ songs: Sinful Passion - The story behind this song is very interesting: The band that composed this song is also from Kazakhstan and this performance by Dimash revitalized the song. Furthermore, in the final part he added an oriental technique (from the Kazakhstan region). The song was originally performed in 1998 and the band name is A'Studio (Russian-based Kazakh pop music group, "Alma-Ata Studio", city of Almaty). The main singer (of whom Dimash was a fan) left the band in 2000 and passed away in 2015 from a heart attack and his name was Batyrkhan Shukenov. The lyrics are by the poet Ilia Reznik together with Baigaly Serkebayev, who is the keyboardist with long hair and a mustache and who in the 2018 video (at the presentation in Sochi, Russia) accompanies Dimash on this song along with part of the band. This was from around 2018 and Dimash did get every year better. So in 2024 Dimash is a even better singer. And his full range is not showed yet in this song. His range is the most extreme a singer can have but Dimash is so much more as only range. There are at least 5 magnificent live performances of this masterpiece sung by Dimash, all of them extraordinarily magnificent. Thank you for analyzing this particular version of "Sinful Passion". It's absolutely the best video for a voice teacher to watch. The official recording from Sochi, Russia on Dimash's channel has so much post-production nonsense, such criminal editing, that many viewers are left questioning its authenticity. This version from Moscow is so raw and unprocessed. It makes very clear, and close-up, the reality of the incredible voice that this one-of-a-kind singer unleashes on stage.

Sinful Passion - The story behind this song is very interesting: The band that composed this song is also from Kazakhstan and this performance by Dimash revitalized the song. Furthermore, in the final part he added an oriental technique (from the Kazakhstan region). The song was originally performed in 1998 and the band name is A'Studio (Russian-based Kazakh pop music group, "Alma-Ata Studio", city of Almaty). The main singer (of whom Dimash was a fan) left the band in 2000 and passed away in 2015 from a heart attack and his name was Batyrkhan Shukenov. The lyrics are by the poet Ilia Reznik together with Baigaly Serkebayev, who is the keyboardist with long hair and a mustache and who in the 2018 video (at the presentation in Sochi, Russia) accompanies Dimash on this song along with part of the band.

Dimash Qudaibergen (Dinmukhammed Qanatuly Qudaibergen) was born on May 24, 1994 in Aktobe, Kazakhstan. He is 1.91 m (6.3 ft) tall.
Dimash is a singer, composer, multi-instrumentalist, actor, video director, screenwriter and entrepreneur who has received the title of Honored Music Artist of Kazakhstan and many other significant awards around the world.
Dimash Qudaibergen was very fortunate to be born into musical 'royalty'. Grandfather was a professional dombra player, grandmother was a teacher and sang. His mother Svetlana Aitbayeva has a classical education (not opera). His father, Kanat Aitbayev, is also a singer, songwriter and producer. His parents are known throughout the country and are “Honored Music Artists of Kazakhstan”. Both have been seen on the big stages and on television in Kazakhstan for many years.

According to Kazakh tradition, Dimash grew up with his grandparents. He calls them mom and dad and for a long time thought his parents were brother and sister-in-law. They all live together in one house.

Dimash wasn't a child prodigy, but he always wanted to be a musician and grew up surrounded by music. In his childhood, Dimash trained in taekwondo. As a child he performed at concerts and took part in various competitions. In 2012, Dimasch won the Grand Prix of Kazakh young singers “Schas Kanat” (“Young Wings”). In 2015, Dimasch won the Grand Prize of the Belarusian music festival “Slavyansky Bazaar” (Slavic Market) - a milestone in the young singer's career.
The career jump to global megastar came in January 2017 after his participation in the Chinese singing competition “The Singer”.
In 2016, Dimash turned down the offer of an engagement at the National Opera in Astana (capital of Kazakhstan) because he wanted to go his own way. Dimash is independent and has full artistic control over himself. His father founded the company "DimashAli" with a friend (his son's name is Ali).
In 2017, Dimash surprised everyone, not only in China. His first album was certified 1x platinum in 37 seconds, 3x platinum in 47 minutes and 5x platinum in one day.
He opened the eyes of his critical compatriots. Today, Dimash is his country's "cultural ambassador" and a "national treasure" (no official title). He himself is a proud Kazakh and patriot.
Dimash plays at least 7 instruments, traditional dombra is a must in his family. He speaks 3 languages: Kazakh (mother tongue), Russian without an accent (second language in Kazakhstan) and English. So far he sings in 16 languages (phonetically). Dimash says dancing is difficult for him. But he moves great on stage and his hands speak. He is a grandios and sensitive story teller. Dimash trains his voice 3 hours every day...but he says: "You don't have to know how hard I've worked, you just have to enjoy the results."
In professional circles, Dimash is considered a lyrical baritone with a typically wide range. Some believe that he does not sing his high notes as a countertenor but as a natural soprano. He is the first singer to sing all 5 voices: bass, baritone, tenor, alto, soprano.
His current pitch range is G0 - D8 (outside the piano)! At least the Dimash shows us so far.

Dimash's 'heavenly' vocal abilities, from bass to coloratura soprano, are difficult to classify.
