I avoid oil just boil some water add onion, tomato, capsicum, cabbage and one green chilly boil for 2 minutes than add oats and some salt , some coriander it taste very delicious skip to use red chilly and add some lemon juice
@@arl5780I don't measure usually, you can use around 2 glass of water and boil it and add oats if you think its not cooked well you can add more water at that time.
Yummy recipe..I make it quite often for my whole family ..I add 1 or 2 types of lentils and some chopped chicken breast meat and and enhances the taste to the next level..good work keep it up 👍

Hi I tried it with some veggies, but first few bites I really did not like it , then I gave up but as I want to lose my weight , so motivated myself . But mean while the food was completely cold so again added some water , some peanuts along with garam masala and heated it up in Microwave , trust me the taste was good . I liked it. Next time I ll prepare by adding veggies, peanuts and garam masala. Thanks for sharing the basic idea.

yup i too think the same. My oats was too dry. I like it little fluidy. For 1 cup of oats i used 2 cups of water..and it still wasnt enough.. i only cooked for sharp 3 min after closing the lid..
for extra flavor,I added Abit of tomato ketchup and ajinomoto(tasting salt) before removing from the stove.And squeezed some lemon juice before eating to give that tangy flavour.Came out yummy

I made it. I even added 4 teaspoons of salt and it tasted like lentil soup
I literally use this masala for 90% of my indian cooking whether chicken , paneer, lentils or eggs
