- Hey! What do you do when others seem to be being blessed before you? Trust me, I know the feeling. While we can rejoice with others seemingly being blessed "before" us, we can also rejoice in a God who remembers us.
In this video, I'll be diving into 1 Samuel 1 and reflecting on Hannah's story. Hannah wasn't able to have children while her husband's second wife Peninnah had TEN children. Others may seem to be being blessed before you but know that God's timing is perfect.

For over a year I was in and out of court fighting for custody of my son. His dad decided to file for primary custody when I decided to move to another state for a better life, a school for my kids, and a job opportunity. His dad had never done anything for our son. He had an attorney and I didn't, they dragged me through the mud. I was in court every month where it had to go to trial. I was so scared and had so much anxiety. I fasted, prayed, and cried on my face before God.. I did not understand why he was not helping me, why I couldn't get a lawyer, no one would help me because of my finances. Just 2 weeks ago we had a trial (3 hours long) and the Judge ruled in my favor. 🙌 I walked into the courtroom alone, shaking, with no representation, facing the judge and attorney but walked out VICTORIUS. God sent his army of angels before me and he was my defender. This season God showed me that all I need is him. He was the help I needed all along. He had not forgotten me.

This definitely reminded me to trust God's timing for my *own* life. We can't measure God's faithfulness in our lives & situations by comparing how He's come through for others. He is faithful and will show up when the time is right. Amen!

Been praying for a full 18 months for a job opportunity and financial breakthrough to be able to provide for my son and I. I've fasted, I've cried, I've tithed with the little money I get sometimes, I've applied, interviewed for some roles where i thought I've made it only not to be offered a job.At this point i don't even know how I'm going to survive 2024 but i trust God.He is my only hope, I pray the Lord remembers me and His name be glorified 🥺

2years? Probably He does not want you working permanent so that you can use the extra time with Him. There maybe bigger things in store for you.

When I was in grad school, I had a major dental issue come up when I was between insurance. I was in excruciating pain and would have to pay out of pocket for the procedure - money I didn't have and could not find. One day, I was driving out of town for the weekend when I cried out to the Lord. W/ humility, I asked if He could take 2 seconds to look at little me. Someone who was powerless w/o Him. When I got home, there was an unopened piece of mail my mom said looked important. It was a check from an insurance company that claimed I overpaid. I say "claimed" b/c I kept meticulous records and know for a fact I never overpaid them. The check was for almost the exact amount of the procedure (just a hint more). That was 15+ years ago. When doubt starts to creep in, I remind myself that He is still God; the same God who cared about the tooth of the small town girl who cried out in her moment of desperation. And He'll do it again.
May the Lord remember me😭because I am slowly but surely losing my mind because of unemployment

Ladies, Please say a prayer for me if you feel it on your heart. It’s been so hard being this discouraged. I’m seeking God’s direction and I just don’t know if I should still continue my job search. I don’t enjoy my work anymore but I haven’t been able to even get a phone screening. I feel very lost. 😔
1 Samuel 1 is my favorite chapter in the entire Bible, I’ve read it so much that my Bible falls open to it and I have the whole thing basically memorized. I’m also in a wilderness period and struggling as I watch others get what I’ve prayed for. Thank God for His divine timing, and His wisdom and kindness that goes beyond what we can even imagine!

I’ve been praying for years and years for true friendship and sister hood. I have had friends come and go and feel as though I can’t be myself and if I’ve raised concerns to them the friendship dies. No safe space.
I have hope that in the future I will have this and I know I need to keep putting myself out there.

I needed to hear this message! I have always felt overlooked by God. I desire to be married and have more children and it’s seems as if it never works out for me and yet my family and friends are all getting the desire of my heart. I’m absolutely elated for them but it’s like wow is this really what I have to look forward to? Always getting a no and having to wait and everyone around me gets their yes. I now have been single for 4 years and I even recently wept to God about this like in November or December and I am currently still waiting on the desires of my heart. This is so timely … God knows our deadlines ❤️🙏🏾 because it’s his purpose on our life. I was in tears in church yesterday as I have been in the wilderness for long I’m 37. No kids. No job. No husband.. the list could go on … and I want all that… at times I’m even in anguish as to why is not yet happened !?! But hearing this I will remain in hope and be steadfast as God continues to work on me.

@shirlz1810 i know how u feel. I hv been trusting God for marriage for so long(in my timeline) and i keep trusting God even when my heart cant do it anymore. I hv seen pple around me pray for a week and they get serious men and settle down while am stuck in this place.. Hurts sometimes so much...
I'm so sorry. I pray your 60:22 time is NOW. Mind your internal posture as well, and serve others as well, especially those who are in seasons of the prayers you're praying, this could be as "simple" as saying a prayer for a close friend or relative who just got engaged, pray for their union, their safety, provision, just pray that the Lord is with them through and through. Serve them with love. It'll lessen the load less (emotional pain). I've found that helps me the most. God is faithful and Jesus Christ is so loving, He's been teaching me so much about serving, even in my pain and where I've been seeing so many people around me being blessed with children, jobs, beautiful unions of love - but instead of doing that, I'm learning to be grateful because in as much as I want those things, His approval is important to me, without His "Yes" and His "Presence" , I know I won't want it. Remember that He loves you deeply, more than you can fathom. You're not alone. Stay in faith, where it lacks, pray, and speak to Jesus to give you more faith and His joy. ❤ It's going to happen, soon. All at once, I pray it's in 2024 for you.

I remember feeling forgotten while consistently praying to God for healing and deliverance from the Spirit of Jealousy and crying relentlessly. The truth is a lot of times, God is waiting on us to be obedient to His instructions before we can recieve our breakthrough. Thank you kindly, Sis for the words of encouragement when it comes to waiting. I have also had the experience of asking God to give me things that He said, 'No' to and right now I"m so glad that He did not let me get everything that I asked Him for, in Jesus name!!! ☺☺☺
For me, it's not even that other people are being blessed before me because I know for a fact that we can not all be at the same place at the same time. For me, it's God forgetting about me. I have felt for a long time that God surely forgot me. In fact, a friend of mine said she feels like God put her here on earth to suffer but at the same time Pray for other people's needs while she continues to suffer. I cried when she made that statement because this girl has struggled with life ever since she was put in this earth. 2023 was one of the worst years I have ever experienced. I wondered where God was and several times even contemplated suicide. I hope God remembers me this year. I am not even asking for much. I just want to remembered each month or day by day.

@@thelenaej exactly. Even though I can’t seem to say the words perfectly. God sees my heart, how I’m always rooting for others and I’m never fake about it.
God has really been showing me a lot here lately within scripture on this same topic. I just mentioned in a recent video, I have posted 355 videos and I just got monetized. I shared that because I have seen people post 3 videos and reach that milestone, or 50 videos and reach that milestone. I just kept asking the Father "what am I doing wrong". And I simply had to realize that I am still being prepared. So often we look to hurry into that next season when all the while there are several lessons right before us that will prepare us for what it is that we are praying for. And once again God delivered me a message right on time to confirm what I have been reading. Your video was right on time for me! Continue to be blessed. This message is so timely. My husband and I have been expecting our second child but unfortunately we lost him halfway through the pregnancy journey. I’ve just been asking God whyyyy me….. why do others seem to have such an easy pregnancy yet I’m always struggling. I feel abandoned by God and forgotten. Nothing seems to be working out for me. What an amazing message. I have been in my wilderness period for years. I’ve watched others receive the blessings I have been praying for for over a decade. Marriage, children, my own family……Still I remain faithful. During this time I have put so much work into myself and healing my mind, body and spirit from situations that I’ve endured. I had to learn that in order for me to receive the blessings God has for me, I had to put in the work of healing and trusting that God will deliver on those promises. Everyday is not easy but I’m far from where I use to be. Most days I’m smiling and basking in God’s love because I see the work he’s doing in my life. I just have to remain faithful even when I have minor moments of weakness.

This word was so needed because I felt this way for years praying for something not only just seeing other people being blessed with the things that I've been praying for but seeing my nieces that I've changed their diapers their children not just one or two but three and know that someone that I've changed diapers have been blessed to have children before me and just other things but this was right on time and I do believe that God has something special in store for me and I know that I too will bear children at the right time at the appointed time and I thank you for this word it was very encouraging

God lead to me listen to this message this morning. A friend of mine is getting married today and another one of my friends is relocating to Ireland tomorrow she got a job there. I’m extremely happy for them. But also a bit sad because I’ve been praying for a job and a stable relationship for 3 years now. Sometimes I feel like God has forgotten about me 😢 nevertheless I still cling to him and keep faith that he will bless me when the time is right 🙏🏾

A month after this was posted it found me when I needed it the most. At the end of Oct, I ended up rupturing my patella tendon and needed surgery. I was not prepared for it. Nothing was saved up and I hadn't been at my job long enough to receive enough leave to supplement the 8 weeks I would be out of work. Fast forward, I've been out of work for two months and have lost all hope. No money coming in and I'm worried about how my bills are getting paid, but this video found me and gave me the encouragement I needed, so thank you. Hope you guys have a happy New Year!

Indeed God remembers being in the wilderness is not easy I must say at some point I have wondered does He really love me like He says He does been waiting for a breakthrough which seems not forthcoming but I am hoping that this year 2024 will be the time I am remembered and restored in Jesus name.

I dont know if anyone can relate exactly to my situation but basically there’s no area in my life im seeing breakthrough not with job, education, marriage, ministry, finances…everything is stagnant or non-existent. The only thing i can boast in is how He’s moved my spirit. How He has taken time to prune and mold me into the woman He wants me to be. I wanna give up if im being honest but the Lord is my strength so i somehow make it through another day!!

I was just reading that scripture in Isaiah! That really encouraged me last night. I had been asking God about why so long the waiting time and yes was thinking about how others have received their heart's desire. So I received this as God's confirmation that He hears me.

This is the 3rd time that God has brought this particular bible story to my attention this week. I have felt forgotten when it comes to marriage. I have literally been seeing it happen for everyone else around me. Im so tired of the waiting and feeling left out. I have been desiring marriage for a long time and that desire has grown stronger. I have asked God to take the desire away if its not for me but He hasn't. I have had many moments where I've cried out to God. Im truly tired but i try to keep moving forward. I just dont want to have the desire anymore.

Your feelings are VALID. 🫶🏾 Sometimes when we want something so bad we end up saying we don't want it anymore when it feels like we have to struggle just for it to happen for us. I have had similar thoughts when it comes to marriage, so you're not alone. The desire is a good one and I know in due time it'll happen. I know it sounds redundant, but continue to trust God with that desire. 💕

Thanks so much for the words of encouragement. I just received some indirect news and was feeling a little down. I feel like I’ve been in the wilderness on some things for a few years but then God gives me something to help remind me that he’s still there with me. I thank him for the blessings but the ones that I have been praying so hard on seemed to be overlooked at this moment but I know that one day I will look back and give him the glory! You were a God send to me tonight and maybe was the sign I had been looking for.

My husband and I had been trying for almost 11 months to have a baby and God blessed us with a positive pregnancy the 12th month which marks a year of us trying!! I definitely can relate to this. Like you mentioned in the video, I have prayed for the same things for years. I also had to realize that I was very inconsistent with my relationship with God. Very much lukewarm. How do I expect him to give me something and I can’t even give him 10 minutes out my day every day? I’m thankful he said no then, like you said, there’s no telling what my relationship would be like with God if he’d given me what I wanted. God has not forgotten about you, me or anyone. His timing is perfect. 🙏🏾 Thank you for sharing!

I feel this way sometimes when I’m chasing my dream doing music and just in general trying figure it all out at one time but I know that gods timing is perfect because if I try rushing into doing/getting certain thing and accomplishing things quicker, I wouldn’t appreciate it as much
