I love it when Sarah plays a good character. Also I know Vanessa feels about feeling guilty for calling in sick from work. I called in my work and have to take an indefinite leave of absence due to a leg injury. I can’t walk. I just feel grateful that I work for an understanding company. But sometimes these things happen.

Yep, her mom should let her keep working there. She seems to enjoy it, and is learning responsibility and how other people live and need to work to be able to live. It was an eye opener for her. (Jan Griffiths).

There’s no doubt that she should continue to work at the restaurant, her whole attitude has changed and she’s has grown up in that place, with the assistance of the very kind Vanessa. What a wonderful and sweet gesture for her to give her, her car. I truly admire her for that and for her change of attitude.
Gosh. When I was a high school senior in California, I worked part-time at McDonald's. I was grateful because it was more than a weekly allowance from parents.

I've bussed tables before, but they were *never* topped with tablecloths or lamps! All they were bussed with was, as usual, 4-6 each coffee mugs (sometimes) and silverware rolls (sets rolled up in linen cloths).
Additionally, isn't food-handling and dish-washing (for commercial reasons) supposed to be done with gloves? And I mean clean ones? Of course, it means washing up and changing gloves for every single task change, such as from a dirtier one to a cleaner one. That includes after using cleaner and before handling food or clean dishes of any kind.
And finally, YES! Let her keep working if she likes! Besides, it gives her more opportunities to do things like, taking a walk downtown (if that's the workplace's whereabouts).
