She is so happy talking about those Alpine plants, and it's so joyful. She is so passionate and you can see from the smile while showing you those babies. As always, love your videos , Summer. As one who lives in tropic, these kind of plants are fascinating and exotic.

What a fabulous tour! Interestingly the Cyclamen flower stem spirals down towards the ground once it's been pollinated to make the seeds available for the ants at ground level. The flowers are on a very upright stem to attract the pollinator and then spiral down to attract the distributor - an amazing process!

This is cool. I really appreciate these tiny life forms. I've snatched some, on walks, put them in soil, outside and they appeared to wither. Now, they've reappeared, from nowhere. They aren't weeds, to be dug out, to me. They are nearly a main attraction. The mild Winter, might have helped. So now it looks like a rock garden, without the rocks. I love the delicate, tiny leaves and flowers. Thank you for this joyous tour. ❤

Loved the many curiosities here and there, just absolutely lovely. And may I say I felt like Summer finally found someone who can keep the pace ahahah

I love Alpine plants and trough gardens. If you or anyone is near Colorado, the Betty Ford gardens in Vail, CO has an outstanding collection of alpine plants and gardens. The best time to visit is mid-summer (July) as that is their peak growing season. If you come too early you may be disappointed because of the high elevation, the plants aren't doing much until mid-summer.

So enjoyable watching this, you both interacted so wonderfully, talking about a group of plants rarely mentioned anywhere. So interesting seeing how they are grown in Long Tom pots sunk in the sandy soil. I have to ask, thinking “ Alpine”, where is the Edelweiss?! I actually grew some in the garden many years ago, a beautiful silvery plant. Great video by 2 great ladies! 🌱💚💚
