I wish this video goes viral!!! Too many of our black and brown kids are delusional about reality as I have worked in public schools for many years. It's lack of knowledge and ignorance that keeps plaguing our community. Our children are being misled by propaganda of celebrity life and what they see in music videos. Parents really need to have their children seek Christ and godliness (Matthew 6:33). This is the foundation to changing mindset. The Word of God in the Bible will give them wisdom to all things that pertain to life and godliness from marriage, raising children, managing money by being a good steward, loving their neighbors as thyself, learning when God blesses you to have money and resources it is to help others like the widows and fatherless, righteous living and lifestyle, building a legacy with godly principles and values. Blacks need to invest in their child's spiritual well being FIRST as earthly possessions will fade away! Then, when physical blessings come (e.g. education, careers, etc.) they will have learned not to covet but understand biblically that godliness with contentment is great gain. Chasing and serving mammoth without God will in the long run vex the soul by falling into temptation and snares (1 Timothy 6:9:12). Those who trust in the LORD and are guided by HIM will prosper. Thanks for these gems you are giving. It's needed.

Mate , I be true with you about being a genius to inspire people to do something valuable for the community, I had started to think properly about what going on with all of this "careers " that social media shows us are valuable, when the truth is that you can do something better learning a skill that is 100% more important for the society than being an influencer . I agree with what you say but I think the numbers are a little bit off because it’s 12-15 players on a team let’s be honest only 5 start and out of that 5 roughly about 2-3 are actually really good to play on an elite D1 college level and out of those 2-3 that are really good 1 of them actually puts in the work to keep improving and the others are just talented because of genetics. So we have 1-2 from each team that is really putting that work in and eat sleeps breath basketball but 1 of them probably doesn’t have the grades to go to college so they don’t get the offers that leaves you with 1 player from each team that is probably going to go out of the (round up) 600k students that leaves you with roughly 3% chance to make it. But that 3 percent chance is the chance that your the 1 from each team. Do I think it’s multiple ways to become rich with out sports, rap, and all that yes but basketball and all that opens up the doors for all those skills got to go through life fail and go through things in order to realize what you want in life.
Just because it isn’t likely for you to be a nba player doesn’t mean you can’t make money and be successful off of playing basketball. T jass wasn’t the size of anyone in the nba but still was successful playing basketball and so was all the other street ballers

Yea while he's giving some good perspectives he was off on alot of things, in today's age you definitely don't even have to go to college to make it to the NBA, and even if you don't make it , it's soooo many people making money from basketball content using social media. It's crazy actually, and this applies to music, influencer etc etc
