@@hinkelsteinheber4975 Well, it's just the wrong technical term. A mid-intro ia the "hard" part in the beginning of a track. An example would be the psy part in SZP - The Project or if you're more into hardcore the part with the screeches in The Supreme Team - Carnival of Doom, right before the orchestra stuff kicks in.
What you are referring to is just a plain Break.

Let's say it like this, in that time, there where no/barely any cellphones, and it was the jungledrum (Mouth 2 Mouth) that brought the people who trully was there for the music and the experience etc. Not like today when everything gets posted on facebook instagram etc...
