@hhjpegg unpopular opinion but both are good. the 5th season has a good ending episode that incorporates a lot of fan features, like all the gems fusing. and future doesn't try to make Stevens emotional health look "healthy", by building a lot of suspension with his mental breakdown, which eventually becomes the monster, which i think was a bit cliché, but it also wasnt a thing where by "beating" Stevens monster, he became better. cause it wasn't, he became "better" through therapy which the show mentions. and the actually end of SUF was a good emotional build up that ended off the series on a bitter sweet note. what more can you really ask for.
I know this is outdated but amethyst is less than 6000 years old since she came out late she came out after the diamond blast which was confirmed in bismuth to happen within the last 5300 years and amethyst wasn't corrupted because she came out late which means she has to be less than 6000

All the Diamonds have rather illustrious voice actors, with Lisa Hannigan being a famous Irish vocalist while Patti Lupone, Christine Ebersole and Susan Egan being Tony winning Broadway actresses. Meanwhile all Quartz soldiers and just general soldiers like Jaspers and Amethysts are voiced by VA regulars like Kimberly Brooks and Michaela Dietz. Ergo, they foreshadowed Roses connections to the Diamonds as early as picking her VA and the connection of the corruption song to their powerful vocals. Just thought that was cool I’m glad to be getting back into the show
