For a bit, I thought “oh maybe the get to know each other later in the manga or something” but nope, their last interaction is shinobu roasting him at mount natagumo. It is possible im forgetting something, but I really don’t understand this ship and it just feels wrong tbh. Like mitsuri and obanai complement each other, they give each other gifts, they talk like they actually like each other, meanwhile all shinobu does is roast giyuu like he’s funny emo punching bag. And unless there’s some sort of extra chapter where they talk or some fan book thing where they are said to like each other, it doesn’t feel like a good relationship.
