So I'm gonna chalk up the whole "Golden plushies" thing to every guide I found online regarding the rooftop ending being BS. I'm getting a lot of comments about what you ACTUALLY need to do to get to that ending, which just tells me that nobody's cared about it enough to update their guides or walkthroughs. Sorry folks!
i always listen to fnaf videos to fall asleep, because the lore is so convoluted that its interesting to listen to but not important enough to pay attention to that it keeps me awake. this release was timed so perfectly though, im viewing it as a gift, so someone remind me to rewatch it in the morning as thanks
9:27 Gregory IS wearing fazbear merch, If you look on the right side of his shirt theres a Lil badge of Freddy's face. And the shoes kind of resemble Freddy a bit.
I appreciate that you list the music used in the description. It's a surprisingly common trend for popular content creators to entirely neglect to link sources to the music in their videos.
Gregory’s shirt and shoes are actually Fazbear merch. Also robots are able eat in the books, plus why would they need the robot parts? I came up with only three reasons why they would have robot parts in their room. 1. They’re indeed a robot, and are using the parts to repair themselves. 2. They’re analyzing the parts to learn more about how the robots work, or if they know about Glitchtrap’s existence, to see if the robots are infected with the Glitchtrap virus. 3. The robots might’ve almost caught the person, so they had to be destroyed and hidden away to prevent the employees from suspecting anything.
Personally I agree with Fuhnaff's theory about the post-it room: that both Evan and Charlie are living in there. His video presents some pretty solid evidence that there are two different drawing or handwriting styles, each generally reflecting the age at time of death of these two characters
All of the therapist lines don't sound like someone who is schizophrenic due to a possession they sound like someone is threatening her, and whilst afton could be in her head as like a voice, the only other time we've seen afton mind jack someone he had taken complete control no compromise
The Voice-Actor Of Vanny Has Been Thrown Around From Person To Person, (Help-Wanted, The Trailers, Etc.) Marta Stated In A Streamily QNA That The Role Of Vanny Was Given To Her At Rather Short Notice. All Around Nice Theory!
really like your first theory, interesting to think the one drawing losing their memories to become an animatronic. Gregory is wearing a Freddy shirt (you can find a small black logo of Freddy on his shirt) and most arcade games has the highscore with GGY (Gregory). still possible that he's not been living there but I just wanted to point that out.
What if Vanessa is possessed by Elizabeth, or at least the memory of Elizabeth. In the books it seems like robots can get possessed by memories (I haven't read the books but that is my understanding of the books). Perhaps those rooms were it looks like a little girl might be living in could be because of how afton remembered Elizabeth before baby killed her which creates a mix of Elizabeth before and after baby killed her.
You know when RUIN comes out, I would love to see a future fic where Gregory and The Girl from the RUIN teaser stumble across each other during security breach.
I enjoy a lot about your theory regarding the rooftop ending, I think you're spot on that it's meant to tease the player, but not in the exact way you described. As you mentioned, you do have to go out of your way to achieve the rooftop ending, but at the same time it's not nearly as convoluted as something like princess quest. Thus I believe the ending is meant to show the player that there is still unresolved trauma to resolve, that you need to venture back into the Pizza Plex to "save the princess". Vanessa is still on the roof because you have yet to get the best ending possible, just like how the lights in the animatronics will still be on if you don't complete the Happiest Day.
I always figured since first hearing the Tapes that Vanny and Vanessa are the same person just like how two face from Batman is Harvey and Two-Face but one body.
i could talk about important stuff ... but nah. the fire ending requires 39 non story required collectibles. thats it. not 60 different items (altough it might add up. i dont know how many required items you need), but you deffinetly dont need the golden plushies. i tried it myself. you dont need them
My personal theory is that Vanny was originally Vanessa, but the game was rewritten late into development to go a different path (probably to go a more 'family friendly' route). This is why the code treats them the same and early screenshots had the Vanny meter. As things are currently set up, I believe they're two separate people: Vanny is Elizabeth and Vanessa is the Reluctant Follower. The weird thing is that Vanessa never shows actual malice. She's annoyed and worried about Gregory, but not exactly hostile. Even when it's just the two of them, or just her and Freddy, she never lets the Security Guard mask drop. Elizabeth, on the other hand, is a shape shifting animatronic with a slavish devotion to "Daddy" Afton, a taste for murder, a tendency to play with her food, a long (book) history of identity theft and access to Illusion Disks. Illusion disks render most machines unable to recognize something (just a blur in cameras, for instance) while living observers both feel discomfort in their presence and see something else when looking at the user. Vanny is invisible to machines, with Freddy looking straight out at her and seeing nothing, while Gregory's vision gets screwed up when looking at her and he sounds uncomfortable. With Roxy's eyes, however, Freddy can see through the illusion disk while Gregory still sees Vanessa's face under the mask because the disk is still active - in spite of a multi-floor fall that should have rendered an organic body pretty unrecognizable. So here's how I think it shakes out: Glitchtrap DOES download itself into Vanessa, but the timid girl has more backbone than it expected. It tries to use her, and intimidate her when she resists (such as the compliance and cut-in-half web searches), but ultimately (and apparently with therapy) manages to "wall off" Glitchtrap and form a new balance of power, where she has limits to what she's willing to do. She can be bullied to do just so much before she fights back. Fortunately, simply being the chief of security and setting things up so that she's supposed to be the only one in the plex after hours sets things up nicely for Glitchtrap. I believe she's been doing the digging towards the Pizzeria trap and manipulating Montgomery into dismantling Bonnie to get the parts to augment Springtrap's corpse into an ideal host for Glitchtrap - distasteful things, but ones under the threshold she'll fight back over. Elizabeth uses an Illusion Disk to take the appearance of Vanessa and does the things the security guard won't. Killings, for instance, cleaning up people who were in the way of the plan - either asking questions or learning too much or simply having opinions or positions that make them a threat. She of course relishes this because she's Elizabeth. The machines won't record her presence and the only face witnesses might see is Vanessa's anyway. No risk, all reward, and Daddy comes back in his most perfect form ever. A fun time had by one. She is also likely Patient 46, keeping tabs on her unwilling partner and killing any therapist that gets too close to the truth - note that she still sits in the "adult" chair, even though what the therapist sees is a child too small to comfortably sit there and the voice recorder somehow fails to record anything 46 says while the therapists hear them loud and clear. Enter Gregory, who ends up on both their radars. Vanessa wants the kid out of there before Vanny plays janitor with him, but Gregory has seen enough to equate the two and is terrified of her. The kid is a lot of trouble (and a lot of sport) for Vanny, so she makes a point of enjoying that hunt. If you go the Princess route, Cassidy finally kills Glitchtrap and frees Vanessa. If you go the Fire Escape route, Vanny falls to her death and Vanessa is left with Glitchtrap is still in her head and nobody to take the dirty jobs for her.
@@FART_INHALER Interesting response. Suggesting I'm unwilling to acknowledge a female character as a villain, even a genuine monster? She certainly could be, and even in my theory the murdering psychopath still would be female. After a fashion, anyway. If you see a flaw in my theory beyond the suggestion of gender bias, I'd be interested in hearing where my logic went wrong or my grasp of the content was faulty.
Hey DMUTED, after seeing that video on Spectre's series awhile back, I found another FNAF-related webseries that I think you might like called Fazbear Toddler Fun. Fazbear Toddler Fun is a digital horror series that's about a late 90s kids computer game that's presented through an "early RUclips" format, with the videos being recorded on Windows MovieMaker. It presents its own unique take on the FNAF series, focusing on FNAF 2 and 4.
There's no way Elizabeth Afton is Patient 46 she could be Eleanor a new antagonist, Glamrock Freddy is neither Charlie Emily because of him mentioning how he misses Glamrock Bonnie and even has his bowling ball in his room.
Oh hey. Nice theories. I don't agree with everything of course, but I respect. Oh! I would like to have your opinion on ID's Fantasy Post-It room theory! I find it to be great and maybe it could interest you. It basically states that there were 2 people in the post-it room: Charlotte and the Crying Child, both communicating through the post-its and trying to remember their past. There's notes that seem to have writing that say things such as "You are Afton Family" and "This is my home, Leave." or something like that.
The fire escape ending is an obvious joke top-to-bottom down to the fact that it features you burning down the Pizzaplex. In that ending, Vanny dies, Freddy dies, Vanessa's ghost haunts the Pizzaplex (or Vanessa is trapped in a burning building if you believe them to be separate which is even worse), and the Pizzaplex burns down (which we know does nothing after FNaF 3 and 6). It's a joke ending where everything that could go wrong, does go wrong. It's such an obvious joke that I'm shocked people still consider it seriously in their theory crafting.
Im so glad someone else views it like that! It seems like a jab at the Henry ending as kind of a, "wow you effed up so bad, the cycle is starting over again"
Great content, but small thing: The music was a bit out of place (or at least too loud?) it made it hard to focus with swelling orchestral music in the background. Perhaps more slow/consistent music so we can better focus on what you're saying? :)
Gregory DOES wear Freddy’s merch. If you take a look at what he wears, his blue shirt has the Pizzaplex’s Freddy head emblem where a regular polo shirt would have a horse. His shoes are also red and yellow with Glamrock Freddy’s blue lightning bolt on them. They aren’t the same as the merchandise that we see and find around the Pizzaplex, but Gregory is clearly dressed in Freddy’s merchandise.

He’s the one who had a birthday party in a game and there was something similar to “the party was for me” in the security logbook which people attribute to him.
