It's funny that 6ix wore a KISS shirt for this video because the guitar solo was performed by Bruce Kulick, who played lead guitar for KISS from 1984 to 1996.
Next, I'd love to see "Blood Red Sandman" on the channel. It's still my favorite music video from Lordi. Major Evil Dead vibes. I know you guys will love it.

The singer used to make all of the costumes, nowadays he has a bit of help from an employee 'cause man creates all of the art for merch, album covers and the cd booklets as well as writes most of the songs and lyrics, Tracy Lipp helps with lyrics quite a bit though. Needless to say he does a lot of work for the band.
And I believe he was actually approached by the same Australian studio who made prosthetics for Lord of the Rings movies etc. back in like 06 or 07 but decided to focus on the music career that he's been working at for decades. I almost forgot to mention, nowadays he also directs their music videos, I believe he has a degree in films.

The Ninth circle of Hell is frozen over in Dante's Inferno. Also, in some early Jewish text Hell was cold and desolate while in others it was full of hot flames. And Hell isn't just from the Abrahamic religions either. Other, and much older, religions have Hells of their own that are very much different. The notion of Hell having only one state of being is actually very new too. Most older beliefs make Hell more of a personal experience. Varying differences depending on your sins while alive. Hi guys, the next song if you can react to by Lordi should be Bloodred Sandman
The song is all about broken promise at altar. The character telling the story feels betrayed and has vengeance in their eyes. The character just can't believe how the heck the other can just keep on living without remorse and without the guilt haunting and catching up. The character makes a promise that if the other ever comes back to them, they will see a new person. One with more to offer and yet nothing to the betrayer. It is due to the promise the story teller made on the altar with the other one that the hell will freeze over and it starts to snow there if they ever break up. That is the song story.

This is such a good, catchy song. Probably my favorite Lordi song, and as you mentioned a fire guitar solo by Bruce Kulick from the non-makup era of Kiss.

I saw Lordi at Ozzfest in the early 2000s. They were described as "They look like GWAR but sound like Twisted Sister" and that couldn't be more perfect.
