Also it depends on where you buy the tickets... Had a friend that used to work for them said they keep track of the scratcher packs with the big winners, so they will ship the small winners to poorer areas and ship the big winners to more privileged areas... Every once in awhile a big winner will slip through but they prefer it that way to make people believe that it's still random... Also, depending on where you are, if you are a POC and tend to do your stuff online and have to send in a picture of your ID, you will rarely if ever be chosen for the "random giveaways" they do monthly...

I have been telling people the same thing, the lottery is not random they choose who they want to win, and if you enter online they can look you up ,and if you don’t fit their standard they will replace you with a certain kind of person that they want to win if you know what I mean. They will never put a million dollars tickets in a poor neighborhood. Serial numbers are on the back of the ticket 🎫 that’s why they know what store and who bought the winning tickets. Plus they know what you look like

His scheme worked for years and no one was the wiser until he tried to buy the numbers himself. He tried to use LLCs and other ways but in Iowa that is invalid. The state seeked to find out for years because they missed a big chunk of taxes by having that unclaimed ticket and featured video of the transaction all over the news. Someone recognized him. Long story short if he wasnt so greedy as to play and claim it himself his scheme would have been good for years.

According to the Powerball website, the drawing is done in the state of Florida. Judging, by your complaint in time differences, you are probably on PST, which explains the time discrepancy.
Mississippi lottery is worse, they let outsiders win when no other state allows that. Mississippi lottery has the worst odds of winning. They choose who they want to win, that’s why they let Alabama win online all the time, because they want their business. Glad that I don’t live in that state.

My state is greedy they take 6%. Still would be greatful just to win big.
