I know many Russian people do not want war and I just feel as an American citizen my country should not be profiting from any more wars. We prop ourselves up as allies, instigate war, sell arms, exploit oil and leave these countries behind devastated. I feel for Ukraine as well. It would be better if we were not involved.

I know you disabled comment on your last video but i would say from watching your work that you yourself have done quite a lot to help avoid misunderstandings and conflict among different peoples and as an american i know how it is to hold guilt for what my country has done to others. What a sweet idea with the choclate tasting to reveal the sex of the child! Also don't worry about not sharing it before. Keeping it a secret for the first 12 weeks seems like the normal thing to do for most people just to be sure that everything is okay with the embryo to that stage even to their own family, so it is totally okay if you do so with the internet, too. Glad you're feeling better now and wishing you all the best for your pregnancy!

My one cousin is staying, because all men aged 18-60 have to stay and fight. His wife and kids got sent in a train to Poland. If you can, please imagine that was your situation, as you go to bed with your husband and children. Please think of my cousins. My other cousin, she can go but she can't bear to leave her boyfriend behind. So she goes to work, and sleeps in a bunker hearing explosions. Please think of them.
When I see the Russians who are protesting, it gives me hope and lifts morale. It might not change your government but it's changing the world's view of regular Russians. Again, I understand that you must stay safe for your family. But please don't discourage people from protesting.

No protest ever was able to stop any war. Most notable examples: the protests against the Vietnam war didn' stop the USA government, the protests against Iraque war (4 month, 3000 marches, 36 mln people all around the globe) didn' stop the USA government. It's time to learn from history and admit that protests are useless. The sooner people admin it. the sooner they'll start thinking on what actually has to be done so that we could live peacefully.

I wonder what common citizens think about this situation and what information is being provided to them by the media. There's a lot of misinformation going on and it's good to know how people in Russia really feel about this from actual civilian. And I do not understand why people in the comments attack Vika- after all people like them are going to suffer the most after sanctions. It's always civilians who suffer the most- Ukrainians, Russians, Europeans. My country Poland remembers war too well...
