Join us virtually for a new series called Life Beyond the Coop. This series is geared towards seniors and young alumni to help them to navigate life after graduating.

Attorney Rodriguez Havrilla serves as the Litigation and Advocacy Director for the Connecticut Legal Services, a non-profit law firm that is dedicated to helping low-income individuals and families obtain justice.
In her 20 years of practice at CLS, Attorney Rodriguez Havrilla has handled housing matters before administrative agencies, state court, and federal court, including evictions, illegal lockouts, housing discrimination cases, False Claims Act cases, grievance hearings with public housing authorities, and subsidy termination hearings. She argued at the Connecticut Appellate Court in 2021 and most recently worked on a class action in Federal Court on behalf of Medicaid recipients who utilize non-emergency medical transportation.
In December 2022, Attorney Rodriguez Havrilla was appointed to the Connecticut Advisory Council on Housing Matters by Governor Ned Lamont, as a representative of tenants. She is a co-founder and co-chair of the Connecticut Bar Association’s Legal Aid and Public Defense Committee since April 2021, planning and facilitating meetings in service of access to justice for Committee members’ shared client communities.
Nilda holds a B.A. from Trinity College in Hartford, Ct and an J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law.
