The problem is that over time Afganistan team has improved because most of their players are playing international leagues all over the world and improving their game. On the other hand Pakistani team has been playing with small teams and 2nd and 3rd string teams and have been scoring big runs on flat wickets and winning matches. This has improved their Rankings and they have been in this illusion that they are the best. We used to see same kind of emotions when Pakistan hockey started loosing in world cups and Olympics and couldn't qualify for semis towards the end of decade of 90s, now even Nepal is beating them in qualifiers for World Cup. Pakistan Cricket is almost on the same track. This is not something shocking, loosing to Afghanistan was on the cards, we are playing bad cricket for quiet a long time. Look at recent home test matches against England, New Zealand, Australia. A team that is not performing well in tests can never perform well in ODIs. Players fitness is poor only player looking fully fit is Rizwan. Actions needed on war footing basis to correct things from top to bottom, otherwise yesterday it was Afghanistan tomorrow it can be Nepal !!! and Pakistan cricket team will be playing qualifiers for world cup like West Indies.
